Rockies sure know a lot about sweeping teams, they're getting ready to get swept. If they win 1 game, then make it 2, so the Sox can win it at home.
PS - I hate sleeveless jerseys with an utter passion

Anybody else notice "Here Comes Your Man" at the end of the top of the first on Fox? It wasn't the Pixies' version, though.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

Oh, and could the series logo be any uglier? At least the Sox have it on the sleeve...

I also picked Manny to be the MVP of the series, while typing this he justs hit base hit, but it is a series. I'll porbably lose that bet, but I made it.

Beckett was awesome last night. Ignoring the fact that my team was completely crushed and all of my predictions made to look silly, I did enjoy watching Beckett. He's dominant, especially in the playoffs. And it wasn't even like he got out of first gear -- I bet he could have turned it up several more notches had the game been close. I'm just glad Francona didn't pull him after five innings in order to put him out there again for Game 4.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

I had to work last night, so i DVR'd the game. I got home around 10:45 and said "nice, i should be able to catch the last 3 innings or so." I turned on the live broadcast, watched 2 pitches, saw the score and turned it off. Poor Rockies. Let's hope this is the kick in the ass the need after that long layoff.

Brian, help me raise the spirits of the 1986 Mets. The Rockies are going to need some help to beat these Red Sox.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

I saw the first inning between my soccer practice and my soccer meeting. So, I knew things were going well. I think it was 1-3 when I left. Then I came home and watched it from that point on (my DVR is the greatest purchase I have ever made, it ended all fights about watching sports). I managed to not learn the score at the meeting. I'm totally paranoid about that. If I see someone that I think will blurt out the score, I cut them off and say "Don't tell me the score". I didn't have to do that last night.
I ended up skipping ahead in about the 7 inning. |

Game 3 prediction: Josh Fogg won't make it to the 4th inning. Matsuzaka will leave in the 5th. Red Sox win 9-4. |

The dugout banter about the free tacos has been great. Pretty much the highlight of the series for this Rockies fan.

What happened: Josh Fogg left in the third, Matsuzaka left in the 5th, Red Sox win 10 - 5
Pretty kick ass set of predictions if I say so myself. |

Red Sox win! Red Sox win! Red Sox win!
I guess that shows that the AL really is MUCH better than the NL. Maybe ARod will even it out a little. |

Wow, nice trip down memory lane.
That was an entertaining game. That terrible stadium sure did host some great games (e.g. game 7 of the 1991 World Series). |

Agreed - i was rooting for the Tigers, as i thought they could bring down the Yankees easier. But hell, after that game, momentum has to be going towards the Twins...
PS - anyone else love this guy's suit:
