Oh man, it is too soon to see FB getting votes. I'm torn between Bossanova (my favourite Pixies album, but this is about the art) and Trompe. I think I'll vote Bossanova, since Trompe brought us the flying 'P'.

As much as I think the album is one of the best of all time and I prefer it over pretty much all of those Pixies albums, I always found the cover of TOTY a bit off, like it's like a slightly cringey in-joke. Mind you, despite thinking an album that good deserved a better cover, I cant ever picture it with anything else, which means that maybe the joke's on people like me... I'd love to see all the outtakes from that photo shoot though.

Someone predicted it back on screen 1 or 2. And I think they were right. It was always going to be Surfer Rosa. Still, it's fun to see how we get there.

I guess I'll vote Doolittle. I love that album cover, but of the ones remaining if you put them all on T-shirts and gave them to people to wear, you could tell what they all were from across the street, except for Doolittle I imagine. In that sense, Doolittle is the "weakest" cover. Still, this is a very hard decision and quite subjective.
