Voter participation has fallen off considerably, as we might expect. The only difference my vote would make is in also eliminating Trompe or Bossanova, which I don't want to do. So I'll abstain too and this is what we are left with:
Trompe - 1
Bossanova - 1
TOTY - 2
The final four albums are
Surfer Rosa
Doolittle
Bossanova
Trompe Le Monde
We can keep playing or leave it there.
Kind of amazing how those original Pixies albums stand up in so many ways, including the album cover art. Well done everyone.

My favourite one might be Bossanova because I had a poster of the Bossanova tour, on my wall, back in my teenage years

I never really thought about it until this game, but I guess my top two favorites would be Trompe and FB.
I will vote Doolittle this round for reasons stated earlier.
Sdon, I can imagine that Bossanova poster added a nice touch to your wall back in the day. It's such an iconic cover. |

My final order is
1. Doolittle
2. Bossanova
3. Surfer Rosa
4. Trompe
I consider Doolittle and Bossanova are some way above the other two.
I love the mad 50s B-movie vibe off Boassnova. It feels familiar like a tribute of some cover you know already (e.g. London Calling) but it's not. The four circular
pictures each with a unique border and vivid photography, just great. I also like moles.
Doolittle comes just above as it aligns with several of my pet interests: numerology, geometry, religion, animals plus I love art that uses colour sparingly. The sleeve speaks mystery, arcana, secrets, paradox. All the Pixies covers come across as rich and mysterious of course but this one tips it over the edge for me. I love it.
Vaughen Oliver and Pixies were a match made in heaven. |

Honestly I didn't vote because I was waiting to see if I was going to have to vote for TOTY to save Bossanova, which is my pick for best cover in the catalog. My top 5 overall would be:
1. Bossanova
2. Doolittle
3. Surfer Rosa
4. Black Letter Days
5. Head Carrier (grudgingly over Frank Black, just for how weird it is) |

Well, definitely not how I would've had it turn out but of these final ones I'm going to say Bossanova once again. Then Trompe then Doolittle.

Apart from Doolittle, all other remaining ones are o.k. choices for me.
But I can't help, FB self titled (in particular the orange Vinyl over the yellow CD) would be my favorite. The FB logo on this cover is ingenious.
Bossanova maybe second.

| Sorry that I have drifted out to sea on this one. If it's a double elimination for the penultimate round, bidding farewell to Bossanova and Doolittle, then our final showdown is between Surfer Rosa and Trompe Le Monde. Of those two, I honestly don't know how to vote. |

Doolittle is so iconic but I do feel like it is a bit on the nose, as someone else has pointed out. So I will side with Bedbug here.
