not sure about wasp factory blowing anyone's mind. it's very good, but i don't know, wasn't as good or as shocking as i expected it was going to be. quite funny at points, his brother is hilarious!
books i recommend at the moment (that i've just finished reading or am currently reading the latter's case)...
farenheit 451 the curious incident of the dog in the night-time (an absolute must!) death and the penguin (that is very good so far!)
and of course, the space odyssey books, my fave of all time!
And it's hard to be a human being, and it's harder as anything else, and I'm lonesome when you're around, and I'm never lonesome when I'm by myself, and I miss you when you're around. |

securities schmecurities.
I'm reading a cheeky little textbook number called "Gene VII" it's saucy... But for the meaty textbook action "cell and molecular biology" or "introduction to biochemistry" is where the hardcore action's at.
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

I guess I didn't expect anything, but laughed my arse off and didn't see the "twist" coming at all! I love that book, some girl's got my copy, grr. But no, it's not shocking really, i'll give you that much

I also think a good read for anyone is Geek Love by Katherine Dunn
