The Kid w/the Replaceable Head - Richard Hell

I've always thought that this track would have somehow fit onto either the orange album or TOTY.

What do you think of the album, tobafett? I like it I guess, but I don't think its a patch on the last one.

hey Cheese,

I've only heard 4 or 5 cuts off of the new one..."don't save us" is great, I like guitar and a heart --those are the only two coming to mind but I dig, definitely. I hope to get the album soon. do you have it?

I really liked the "dead cities" record...

aren't they touring with Ulrich Schnauss now or soon??? thought i heard that on the radio...

right now, i'm listening to LCD Soundsystem--'great release'

Dead Cities... was my absolute favourite album of 2003, and its in my top 5 ever. The new one seems a little overblown (even compared to Dead Cities), but there's some nice moments on there. It'll take a few more spins maybe to appreciate. Have you heard their first? Its not so great...
I should be going to see them when they play here, I don't know about Schnauss...

It wasn't so bad really, but it wasn't up to the standard of the second album. I met the band actually when they played London (way to name-drop hey?), as I was interviewing them, and since then they've been reduced to just one member. I wonder if its gone to his head!
They were really nice guys (despite being French (kidding!)), and put on an excellent show. They blew the headliners (!!!) away.
