I'm trying to download BAM THWOK as we speak, and cannot wait to hear it. In terms of what I am listening to now.... I'm listening to alot of Neil Young stuff, particularly Mirrorball (being a reletively new fan I have alot of stuff to download and listen to of his stuff), Ive recently rediscovered Stone Roses after years of neglect, Pixies Coachella gig, The Cure etc etc.

Just the good ole boys, never meaning no harm,
that all you ever saw
been in trouble with the law,
since the day they were born

No means No "Wrong", At the Drive in "Relationship of Command", Pixies "Live at the BBC", Your Code Name is Milo "All roads to fault" and Tom Waits "Mule Variations" in no particular order

can't get into anything these days. Always on the peripheral. Always terrified, exhausted, annoyed, pissed, anxious, out of it-out of the loop, out of my mind, out of time.

What do you think of that YourCodeNameIs:Milo mini-album Tre? Not listened to it much since I bought it. I was dissapointed with it after hearing the single, which is very good.

yeah I was expecting something great and was unhappy when I got something mostly mediocre... It's ok! I'm trying to make myself listen to it in the hope that it's a "grower" but it's getting difficult... they have potential!

But I don't know if the potential is due to the faint whiff of steve albini they have hanging around them.... I'm reserving judgement for a while. They're playing here on monday (with 80's matchbox... and kasabian) I'm tempted to go to see how they fare live

is it cool to like peter gabriel? there's a cool song by the french/hefner about peter gabriel. it goes...

peter gabriel, please come to gate nine,
sting has saved the rainforest and things are fine,
call your limousine and go back home,
your children need an angel on the telephone,
you're always checking in and checking out,
the real world's inside your heart, just let it out,
we've had enough world music for a little while.

and all the business suits walk by,
they say plasticine video guy,
and the world's not right but it's right enough for you to do some lovey stuff to your darling wife by the fire side,
and british airways girls they sigh,
saying there goes that phil collins guy,
and if you stay at home tonight the world won't go right over night and they'll be songs left to write tomorrow

and don't you just love the sights of the little cars with the orange light that move in walk-ways and the baggage reclaims,
don't you wish you could stay, don't you wish you could say you never thought of kate bush in a dirty way?

and all the business suits walk by,
they say plasticine video guy,
and the world's not right but it's right enough for you to do some lovey stuff to your darling wife by the fire side,
and british airways girls they sigh,
saying there goes that phil collins guy,
and if you stay at home tonight the world won't go right over night and they'll be songs left to write tomorrow, they'll be songs left to write tomorrow

baaa baaa bah bah baaa baaa bah bah....

anyway, that's what i'm listening to now! haha, great song!

I saw Yourcodenameis:milo the other night supporting Ikara Colt - they were OK, kinda like At The Drive-In but more polished...

I'm currently listening to the forthcoming Tanya Donnelly solo album, 'Whiskey Tango Ghosts': very nice it is too. V Chilled, and her voice is just beautiful.

I've got the shuffle button on on my I-Tunesplaylist. Wigwam by Bob Dylan was just ending as I began typing and now, oddly enough, Frank's Adda Lee has just begun. And it sounds good, I haven't heard it in awhile.
