Errrrrrrrrrrrm............
They are all shite!!!
But the best for me are Asda's own, thin and crispy. But then if you are not from the UK then you will have no idea what I am talking about (usually it doesn't matter where you are from).
For frozen pizza, I prefer cheese and tomato (margerhita - (sic))

Um, how about an evening with real pizza and actual sex?
That said, my husband had a frightening Totino's addiction when I first met him.

sure, in theory "real" sex and "real" pizza are better. but as any true bachelor will tell you, both of those require way too much effort. |

I am actually single too.
I dunno, maybe your frozen pizzas are better than ours over here. In fact I bet they are, they couldn't be much worse.

I think it can be. You can call me a dreamer or an idealist, but when I was single there was nothing more enjoyable than an evening of porn (or baseball), beer, and REAL pizza.
That's why we have jobs. We work to get cash to have the extra few bucks for REAL PIZZA. I can only hope you'll realize that someday. |

you don't have to tell me that's why i have a job. i KNOW that's why i have a job. but obviously you have yet to discover the joys of frozen pizza. sure, real pizza is better. there's no arguing that. i've sampled the best of the best, from New York to Chicago, to Italy (even though pizza is more of an American invention)..
but the night is somehow tainted if you have to answer the door for a stranger.. plus, buying a delivered pizza on your own (which, if you're masturbating, i hope you are) is way more costly than an (almost) equally tasty frozen pizza. after tax and tip, you're looking at at least 10 bucks (even with a coupon).
maybe not all of us make 7 figures a year and wear diamond-studded jackets like you BLT.. or did that not occur to you?
next time you're driving home in your Escalade with your fancy "store-bought" pizza, try and remember that not everyone is necessarily as fortunate as you. |

With what brand of canned suds do you wash down that freshly-baked stale pizza? Keystone? Milwaukee's Best? MGD?

Those are pretty good, but I usually have the skin from the top of my mouth peeling away after those fuckers burn the shit out of me. The cost in pain is too high.
Pepridge Farm (terribly misspelled) use to have a great frozen pizza. Now a days I buy a Digrono's (I can't spell anything) if I'm slumming with a frozen pizza.
Floop, Trader Joes make some nice frozen pizzas. I like their simple cheese pizza. Good thin crust for a frozen. |

Seeing how I hate cheese, I go for the Amy's cheeseless pizzas in the health food section of the grocery store -- they're surprisingly good.

My ex and I went through a period where we were trying to find the ultimate frozen pizza...but I can't remember which one we decided was the best! I think it was Dijornos...I'm pretty sure that's the one. Tombstone makes these mini pizzas that come in a 6 pack (2 cheese, 2 pep, 2 supreme) and they're REALLY good, I really like them.
Oh, and for the record, Boston Market makes the best frozen dinners, hands down.

lol. My fave frozen pizza is the Fraich'Up Royale Pizza by Buitoni, but I doubt that you care, since it's a French brand. A frozen pizza, with Kronenbourg ber and a good soccer match like the one we got on Tuesday... You can't beat that.

No question, Tombstone Thin Crust are the best frozen pies. If you are not using a stone in your oven, you will not get good results regardless of brand. Preheat to 480 F., put the pizza in for 12 minutes, serve and enjoy. The crust is cracker crisp, and the sauce used is excellent, which really makes all the difference. Stay away from the regular Tombstone varities as the crust on those is quite like sheetrock. I also try to avoid frozen pizzas that come in a box, with the notable exception of Freschetta's, which I prefer over DiGiornos. Of course, all frozen pizzas will never be as good as fresh, homemade pies cooked on the grill over mesquite or hickory chips. Yum... Wash it down with this month's seasonal brew of choice, Sprecher Mai-Bock...

Uff Da? that's so funny. i've never heard of that beer, but that's a total Norwegian saying, which is like an exclaimation "oh my god!" my Grandma is Norwegian.
but please, back to the pizza.. |

Tony's is good, especially the thin crust w/ pepperoni. There are also the small ones for 99cents called Mr. P's. Tombstone is good too. All three of those are good to get when they're on sale.
There were also these frozen calzones that my local Big Y used to sell, they were great, but they stopped stocking them, it was something like Stephano's or something.

What I don't understand:
I always heard you weren't supposed to put cheese in the freezer... so is it even real cheese on these frozen pizzas?

1. regular frozen supermarket pizza: DiGiorno's - incredibly good, the crust is beautifully textured and flavored as well 2. organic larger distribution frozen pizza: Amy's (my fave is the spinach and feta!!!, next up mushroom and black olive) -we buy a few of them and stick 'em in the deep-freeze whenever they are on sale, (usually about $4.25).

As far as I know, there is no harm in freezing cheese. Make sure to look for the 'Real Cheese' logo on the packaging of a frozen pizza, lots of brands use some kind of substance of questionable origins.
Floop, I'll take your word for the Whole Foods brand. Alas, I do not have any clops jokes...
