If anyone can spare two tickets, that would be amazing. I'm praying...

Yeah, this was such a failure. I stayed home from school. Opened up like 10 tickets.com windows, called them, had my friends do it, too.
Didn't even get ONE ticket. :-( |

I was calling and clicking simultaneously for a half-hour. I spent my whole lunch break at work trying to secure tickets. All I got was heightened blood pressure and the creation of unheard-of obscenities.
Does anyone in the pool have two tickets to spare?? That would be amazing. One would be just fine as well.

None here either among 4 people trying.
I did get at one point to be able to enter my username and password, but when I pushed "continue" it said I had nothing in my cart and have to start over! Errr!!! |

I struck out. I'm looking for just one ticket, but I do think we should respect the ticket sharing sign up list, if possible, and if there's much to allocate. |

I managed to get tickets and will have 2 extras available. I will be honoring the list. I would like to hear how everyone else did before proceeding with ticket distribution. |

How is the list going to work exactly? Do people get priority in the order that they signed up in? Or is it completely arbitrary, like a lottery kind of set-up?

Just so everyone knows... I've already made a deal two trade my two tickets for Spokane tix, so they are no longer available. I tried to get 6 tix, but 2 was hard enough. I'm sorry that not everyone (or anyone it seems) was able to get what they had wanted. Good luck with the ticket share, and I hope that everything works out for you guys in the end. |

I got zip. Tried as hard as possible. Friends, parents, phone, net, even a friend IN Davis. Nada. It was like trying to get a ticket for Friday in Vacouver. (still hoping on that one, too!)
Would love one ticky if anyone is willing to share.

SCORE! So I got some Davis tickets. I have a few extra to trade. At this point, I ONLY want to trade. I will trade 2 to 4 tickets for the Davis show for:
1. Vancouver - Friday 2. Spokane 3. Vancouver - Thursday
In that order of priority. If you have tickets to trade, please Pmail me at dkcomet@hotmail.com & we can work out the details. Thanks, David K Seattle

Fuck the traders. Start your own thread. This thread is for the ticket sharing group.
I was about 30th in line at the Davis box office (got there at 5:20 am). It looked like 3 (!!!) people bought tickets before the show sold out. 100 students with ids got to buy a ticket. It really sucked. The line never moved. I hope we can get the ticket lottery worked out so that someone can get to go. |

Is that the bitter taste of defeat in my mouth or just the gas station coffee I’m drinking? I shot for tickets this morning and my consolation prize is disappointment.
So if by some miracle someone has a spare ticket to the Davis show please PM me. I’d gladly reimburse said someone for the cost of the ticket. I know it’s uncouth to start bidding for a ticket so I won’t do that but I will offer to throw in a ride to the show for a car full of people if you’re from the Sacramento area. Eh? Eh?
Joust? No way, even on a good day, maybe Balloon Fight… but barely. |

So I arrived at the ONLY *ACTUAL* Tickets.com box office in Northern Nevada (I'm in Reno, about 2 hours from Davis, CA) at 9:45a.m. and I'm the only person there. All other locations are inside supermarkets where no one knows how to use the ticket machines, they've had them for less than a month. I managed to scrape together enough cash to buy 6 tickets, 3 for me, 3 for the board (groceries can wait, right?).
They open the window at 9:55 and when I ask how much the service fee will be the girl says "It varies" and asks what tickets I'm looking to buy.
"The Pixies in Davis California on April 29", I say...
"This is a NEVADA ONLY OUTLET" she says...
"What?!?!? You're the only actual Tickets.com outlet and you don't sell for California?!?!?"
"Sorry..."
FUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I go running out of there and drive to the nearest supermarket outlet. I run into the store and then to the service counter, push the customer service button and wait...
10 seconds feels like 5 minutes and I'm going nuts. The guy asks for the event, then asks me to spell it (???, Pixies ???).
It's 10:05... "no availability"
"Try again"... "no availability"
"Please try again"... "no availability"
It sounds like I never had a chance, even if I had been at the right outlet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Surely Someone Scored ??
I got some encouraging pages from tickets.com, including "Your request for seats is already being processed and will be presented when the seats are reserved". But then no furthur action. SO later on I checked my tickets.com account which I had set up on Saturday, to see if they reserved me some tickets...
"The username and password you provided are not in our patron database."
So, I can't be sure, but I don't think I got any tickets today. That makes me 0 for 6 on the NW tour! |

I struck out too. Badly. I'm officially withdrawing my request for tickets, I had hoped to get extra and be able to give some here, but I didn't get ANY and now I'm probably not going to go at all. Here's praying they come out East SOMEDAY.... if I'm the last one on the list who hasn't gotten tickets, then I'll take two! But don't worry about me, it was a long shot that missed the target.

Wow, this really sucks for you guys. How come no one got any online? It seems that the main www.tickets.com page was down; good thing I had the event page bookmarked. Refreshed, and got through. My two other friends who tried also both got through. |

Man, now I'm sad that I didn't get my friends to buy tickets as well - they just let the tickets go when I got through. I could have helped you guys out, or if I had less morals, I'd have a grand by now. Check out the ebay listings :( |

I had the tickets.com page up in two different browsers, ready to go. Had my credit card number copied to the clipboard and everything. No luck, though, as the web site was completely overloaded. I finally got through to add 2 tickets at about 10:06 but then got the response to select a lower number of tickets or another section. I tried for another 10 minutes then gave up. I'm on a T1 but it didn't help a bit.
==edit== PS-Fuck it. |

I gave up on tickets.com/calling the box office after a half hour. Then I went to Ebay. Against my better judgement I bought two tickets for 295.00 + 10.00 for shipping. Ouch! wish I had some lube for that screwing. Oh well, I'm going to the Pixies. I may have an extra ticket but I'm checking with some friends first. Email me if interested. Same price I paid but would like to share a ride up there from San Luis Obispo, so looking for someone from here or south of here. |

I called UC Davis ticket office and was told they went on sale on the 10th - had no idea it was this morning. I feel stupid and wanted 4 tickets (but I'd settle for 2! or even 1!) very, very badly ... I have something to offer: anyone who can find me the tickets without paying a ridiculous scalper price has a place to stay after the show in beautiful Sacramento, CA. My home is 20 minutes from Davis, and I have 2 spare bedrooms in a beautiful 1920 bungalow, one with a bed and one with an air mattress, and if I'm motivated I'll even make you breakfast the next morning!! |

Here's another one who didn't score on tickets. I'm pretty shocked how bad these web servers are. Anywho, I'm not asking for any here as I jumped out of the sharing a while back, but I was just curious how it's working out for all of you that were in on the sharing. Are people sharing? Probably good for you guys to make a head count of all those who signed up and how many tickets they got. |
