Fo shizzle..
Unfortunately i can't commit to putting much time into this, but if someone wants to organize this, and organize folks to work on the design, find button & patch manufacturers and prices, take care of all the nitty-gritty...i have little doubt that it could all get done in time!

IF SOMEONE CAN COME UP WITH A DESIGN, MY WIFE HAS A VENDER THAT DOES ALL TYPES OF PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS. SHE ALSO DOES SCREENPRINTING. ANY WHO I COULD GET YOU A PRICE ON THAT STUFF IF WE CAN COME TO A CONSENSUS ON A DESIGN |

Not mine!!! I prefer the Pixies which is why I will be wearing one of my Pixies t-shirts with great pride!!!
It's not cool to wear a t-shirt of the band you are seeing. Only if you buy it at the gig and the only place to put it is on your body. That is the only exception.
"Our Love is Rice and Beans and Horses Lard"
Thanks for that you dedicated follower of fashion. I am not cool so I don't care. Like Kurt sang, I'd rather be dead than cool. I can't believe you live your life by fashion's rules. You're sad pal!!! I mean seriously who makes up these rules anyway? Who the hell said "Oh no you can't wear a t-shirt of the band you are going to see at the actual gig".? It's showing your support in a visual way, showing that you're not there to see the RHCP or 'cos you watched Fight Club last night.
Now where did I put my wrist band and trucker's cap? - DOH!!!
uhm I think Thomas wasn't really serious here. It was more like a joke, a good one too, well maybe not a joke, just some inside how the indie world often works. It is indeed sort of uncool to wear a shirt of the band that's playing, no you wear a shirt of another band just to show off how much you know about music
"I joined the Cult of Frank/Nobody wanted to join my Culf"
Hmm yeah! Was kind of kidding myself Bill, hence my last line inc. smiley?
Having said that I intend to ignore you both as the day I take fashion tips from a 36 year old member of the NYPD and a Dutchman is the day I wanna die!!! (notice the smiley again, that means I'm kidding!!!) |

Please use mixed case or lower case only when posting here. I can appreciate that it's difficult because your work has caps lock on by default, but it's a sign of courtesy and respect for fellow members to make the effort to type in smaller and less distracting letters.
Thank you.

No worries. I'm definitely happy to see this become a go to, so happy to have you aboard! Who else is interested in the other elements of getting some FB.Net identifying pins and paraphenilia available?

The answer to all of your prayers.. simply upload an image and they will create a store for you which contains, t-shirts, coffee cups, or anything with that image on. I have myself created a store there. You can control the price so you can make some profit out of this.. I have ordered 2 times from this web and the t-shirts come out great.
FB.net could put up a store there (very easily) and make some money. |

I think bedrock barney's lines were incredible
what are we going to do folks? iron all the things ourselves make a customized shirt for everybody
or
are we going to make one design that's gonna be printed by a real shop or so?

What do you prefer, Jop?
I personally am fond of getting them printed by a real shop SEEING AS THOUGH iron shirts are low in quality. But that is just my opinion, which (I think) is quite insignificant relative to Jop's opinion.
Jop came up with this excelemagnao gtj gop ashjago ....I mean excellent idea.

i agree withn the pre-printed idea. i wouldn't mind paying a bit more for these opposed to iron thingy's, which generally fade in not to long. i want my t-shirt to be a lasting reminder of the greatness, and look forward to selling it on ebay in 10 years for a couple hundred pounds!

Even worse: wearing a shirt of the band that's playing, that you made by yourself, by painting the band's name. That is the uncoolest thing ever.

Why don't we print a big FB face, cut it, and make a mask with it? That would be terrific!
I guess he would go crazy to see a group of ten guys in the front row wearing this.

I spotted someone at a gig (might have been The Breeders at the Astoria) wearing a Throwing Muses Gut Pageant 2001 t-shirt. I ran over and chatted away "wow! you were there! me too! wasn't it great!" etc and the poor chap looked terrified...
so beware what these t-shirts can do - you might end up with a drunken me going "hey! wow! you! wow! hello!" or something... |

sure you'd need to be wearing such a t-shirt to be afraid of this happening jo?

If you like the t-shirt idea, my wife's company can get just about any kind of shirt. And they specialize in screenprinting. Although the 80's style football shirt maybe hard to come by. But they can certainly try to find them. |

lol, gav. with little images of frank black, as shown by remig above? and little teeny pictures of guitars? and a bright garish backdrop colour? ooh, and even better, in a hawaian / bowling hybrid style- personalised with your name stitched on it! |

*well I just checked google and my worst fears have been realised – I AM unable to spell ‘hawaiian’ properly…*
But yeah! And the name thing sounds like genius! Think about it. Big sea of people, mostly in t-shirts - what better way to stand out? Make sure a badge or something is worn too, and it’s foolproof!!!

Ok, since many people are against iron on things we have to scrap that
now as far as I'm concerned the descision about t shirts or badges or buttons or buttoms should be taken with these points: -could we all have enough time to get one or two before the future pixies shows? -are they recognizealbe Frank Black? -Does it push people to visit frankblack.net and/or buy/listen to FB? -could they be recognizeable from a distance of say 5 meters? (not that important) -are they cool? (very important)
