| I'm just going to wait a week and a half for the vinyl to come out, but those interested should probably just do google searches about where to find leaked albums these days. There's probably a reddit thread or something that goes into it. |

| Once a leak happens, the band should just send out digital files to everyone who'd already pre-ordered. Would be a special fun thing for fans, and word that if you preorder the album you get an instant digital download of it might spurn some people to drop money on a last minute pre-order to get the album a week or two earlier than streaming. |

literally 1-2 second per song, what's the point! give us at least 15 secs from each :(
i think this might be the first album from them in a while i haven't pre-ordered. not that i think i won't like the album or anything, or that i won't buy it, i just don't see the point in pre-ordering it exactly. it will never arrive to me on day of release anyway haha |

| Just got an email from UPS that a delivery from Townsend Music is scheduled to be delivered by end of day tomorrow.... could it actually be that a pre-order is actually going to arrive days before release date? That's never happened to me before, if anything it arrives a day or two after release day. Excited that I might be able to hear the album tomorrow! |

| I may have spoken to soon.... although the email from UPS said the delivery was expected to be delivered by end of day today, when I click on tracking history it says UPS still hasn't received the parcel from the sender. Ugh.... don't play with my emotions like that! |

The hinge on my headphones snapped and it may take me a few days to repair or replace it, so I am somewhat perversely hoping the album does not leak because I have no way of listening to it  |

| Pleased for you. No not checking for leaks. But the album must be out there given all the reviews popping up. My Spotify has a countdown that says 14 hrs 22min to go which will be midnight UK time. I'll probably still be up! |

| I got an email from UPS on Monday saying it would be delivered by end of day Tuesday, alas. nothing. I've since gotten dispatch emails from assai Records and Blood Records as well for those respective versions.... one of the 3 better arrive soon! |

| So... if you get a VPN, set it to New Zealand, log out of your current Spotify account, make a new free account with a different email address than your main account (or get a free temp email address from temp-mail.org), you'll have access to the album. Play away, if you want to... |

My initial reaction to the album is... it's beautiful and it will require more listens with headphones to really sink in to it. It's more slow-tempo, laid back, atmospheric than previous albums. Chicken is the best representation of the overal vibe of the album I think. And it feels most like the folksy/"gothic" vibes of BTE more than any other 2.0 album.
It didn't floor me as much as Dogerrel did on first listen. But it's more of a grower I'm feeling. |
