| To avoid too many ties down the stretch, should we do a reduced ballot mini run-off in case of ties? I.e. 2-3 days for those who didn't vote for either of the tied albums to choose between the two? |

Definitely the toughest week so far was week 22.
I hear those of you who want a playoff type format, but since some are strongly opposed to it, and since it would seemingly just delay the inevitable, I'm really in a tough spot if I suddenly change the rules. We already have some who are unhappy about vote changing, and I guess that is what's left in your arsenal if you really want to avoid ties.
In any case, we say goodbye to Dog in the Sand and Bluefinger, two of the best albums anyone has ever made, at the same time. It's like watching the titanic sink; two titanics (sorry if that's insensitive to any forum members who were directly affected by that event).
Week 23 is here, and this is what we are looking at. Voting starts now.

Putting down an early marker, it's an absolute classic but you can have too much of a good thing.
It would have been more focused if 15 minutes shorter. Men In Black should have been on this one, not kept back for COR. |

| Just doing some post-Pixies 1.0 revision, and so I thought this would be an easy choice because TOTY's got Thalassock, Speedie Marie and Headache on it, right? Then I heard Ramona sing.. really haven't ever given that song the appreciation it truly deserves! |

For me, it's between FB and TOTY
COP is miles ahead
I think I prefer how TOTY sounds to FB's production
They have some classics and some fillers (more of both on TOTY)
TOTY may be a bit pretentious, almost bloated, but it's more creative

| Props to DITS and BF which are both solid but this is definitely the 7 I'd have at this stage in the competition. I reckon FB edges out TOTY so as much as I love it TOTY is my vote. |

A tough choice this week but I'm going to go with FB. Los Angeles is such a weird song (in a good way of course) that's almost like pure heavy rock/metal. And he rides around in desert spaceship in the video. And he pronounces "Angeles" differently (possible the correct Latino pronunciation?) which (either way) is easier and quicker to pronounce than it's original name which is apparently: El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles del Río Porciúncula
Speedie Marie and Headache swing it for me though, so this week I'm giving the self titled solo the boot.
