I'm beginning to worry about this. When I log into the site, it says my order (which was placed on Dec. 5) has been processed; yet not only have I not received my package (which I can see many of you in the US haven't), but I also haven't gotten a single email from the company about my order being shipped or being read for shipment, or whatever--which, if I understand it correctly, nearly all of you have. Also, and this seemed very strange to me, when I look at my order history there are two orders for the Christmass CD--one of which is the actual order, which says "Processed," while the other one is a duplicate order, with a total price of 0.00 pounds, that says "frozen." I guess I could have partially completed the order once before I made the actual one, but I really don't think so.

Don't feel bad, I couldn't even log in. I must've spelled my email wrong or something. I didn't get a ship confirmation (though I swear I had an order confirmation that I deleted), I couldn't check my status, multiple times did I try to have my password emailed to me with no luch and their CS hadn't returned my email. And I swear I had it shipped to work and it came to my home. All I knew is the it was charged to my bank statement the day after it was released.

This is a mirror of my order, except I have mine. I recieved no emails from them, and had one processed, one frozen in my account. So I wouldn't worry. I'd be pissed off, but not worried.

This wouldn't have happened with 4AD!

That makes me feel better. I'll wait another week or so before I send any nasty emails to the company.

The fact that even some of you guys in the US have gotten it
throughout the last week had me a bit worried. But that's over now.

I just got mine. Giving it its first spin as I type this. Glad I got it today so we can listen to it in the car as we're traveling this weekend. Love the packaging and so far in sounds incredible. (as expected)

It's a shame that the youtube videos aren't on the DVD. Or maybe I just haven't found them.

So, if only 278 -- or. say, 500 -- units are sold, does somebody lose money on the deal? I wonder what the break-even point is.

Apparently Pitchfork was saying that we said they were going to be on there. I don't know where they got that from or if they heard it from someone else and mistakenly put us in there, but yeah, those would've been no-brainer inclusions. They probably didn't get done in time, though.

On the LoudQuiet DvD, Jon Tiven and Frank are talking about potential labels for Fastman/Raiderman, Frank says none of the major labels would touch him, Jon drops a label who would then fB says (which saddened me because he's such a genius to me) "and I guess at the end of the day, I don't get care all that much....it's all gonna end in tears.."

Sorry...I forgot my point. It is: I hope nobody loses any money on this one, only makes some.

Not sure I understand that story. He's saying he knows FMRM will lose money?

Good thing for that Pixie$ reunion. Without all the money FB made on that, he might have ended up flippin' burgers and we wouldn't have The Water and Gyaneshwar and Don't Get Me Wrong.

No please, it is so obvious that everyone (incuding the press) says the most important things of the year appear at the very end, just because at that moment when you think about that.
But wait... maybe youre right what song of 2006 could be better? Maybe "In the Time of My Ruin" ?

I can think of a few I like better than Don't Get Me Wrong. And they're all by Frank black. Rabbit Hole, The Water, Dead Man's Curve. And That Burnt Out Rock And Roll, if you want to count covers. Still, ALL of my faves this year are by the same guy. Guess I need to branch out a little.

What I took from it, which could be [edit: most definately is] wrong, was some of the past records (no matter what label they were on) weren't as "successful" as they/record labels had hoped. The "all end in tears bit". See what I mean, sort of?

I would hope more than 500 units are sold. How many members are on this forum? We should all get a copy. I'm really digging She's My Way, She's My Way and Radio Lizards.
