Yeah, the face Joey pulls in 'Here Comes Your Man' is just like in the video for it. Cracks me up every time.

Here is a guide to create DVD-videos with Nero: http://www.dvdshrink.info/nero-video.php
Anyway, if you can see the menu it seems that you did it all right. Do you watch dvds with your computer or with a stand alone player? Are you sure your Dvd-r (the disc) isn't damaged?

I've only ever seen one episode, where they're shipwrecked and start making friends with the coconuts. Hilarious.

I saw them a few weeks ago down in Plymouth, I guess the show you saw was for the recording of the Live DVD? I hear that they booked some extra Brixton dates for just that.

I just got the Brixton Torrent, but only the thing that looks like an opening title thing for a DVD has sound (Velouria is playing in the background) any ideas what happened there?

thats quite funny that floop posted that The Word show clip, - mattb does a wonderful job of hosting all those rare tv appearances... because i was listening to Cecilia Ann the other day and instantly that clip came into my mind, even though its a few montsh since i last viewed - but unfortuantely when i listen to Cecilia Ann now, i think of that irrelveant fuck wit that dances around to in that clip!! - i hope that it doesn't stay with me for ever, i don't want him spoiling my enjoyment!! |

i finally downloaded the NTSC version posted on zomb, and i can say that the PAL copy i have is quite considerably better. the picture quality of mine is noticeably better...my copy contains the song title intro, whereas the NTSC version shows the full credits, including the japenese ones.... however, i'm wondering how much effect the fact that i'm playing the NTSC version on a PAL system...my system plays NTSC perfectly, but its taloired for PAL primarily...anyone think that'll make much difference?
i still aim to seed my copy somewhere at some stage....

I've compared the onerok version to the 'tv-vid1-dvdr' i already have and it doesn't look much better. I think the version i have looks a tiny bit better but has some tracking problems during the start. But they're both pretty much the same. How many transfers of this show are there? And benji if your playing the dvd on a pc then i think it makes no difference. Didn't they use this show as a promo? That might explain why yours is pal because the only airing of this i'm aware of was in japan. Ofcourse it may have been converted. |

I would still be interested in higher quality, the zomb one was good to see but it was very blocky in places which was surprising as it apparently came from an analoge source and there should be plenty of room for quality on a dvd-r.
Whenever you are ready.

I've got it working now. I decided to just start again. I don't know what the hell I did the first time but this time it actually worked and only took 10 minutes (instead of the 5 hours the first time I tried). It is indeed a great show!

well, i've decided that since uploading it will take too long for me, i'll send out 10 copies to anyone who wants one and then hopefully if there are others who're interested, they can nab a copy of those i sent it out too. so the copy i have is a PAL copy, which i reauthored to now include a menu and chapters....and to me, is much better quality than the one that was seeded on zomb recently. so just leave a message here and pm me and we can get down to business. i'm not looking for anything in return, however if you think you might have something i'd be interested in, fire away. so yeah, first ten'll get a copy from me...if not 10 interested, i'll just do whoever wants one.

Benji, I'd love a copy. I saw them back in '92 and have been looking for something that really showed the energy they had in that show. That's so cool you're doing this. |

am wondering whether any of you guys are connected to zomb or thetradersden and have a fast upload speed? cause i'm looking for an uploading partner for this dvd to be torrented to one of these sites? if anyone has, i'll send a 2nd disc with the dvd as it would be torrented and we'd seed together....
