Nigella?
Her recipes are hard to follow, though. They're not meant to be made or eaten - they're just a vehicle for her to lick spoons and moan while masticating.

isn't that the whole point of cooking at home? her deserts are usually great, the actual meals i have less luck with. but you can't tell me she isn't gorgeous. |

She's easy on the eye, that's for sure, and I love that she's often dressed in black, but I think she exagerates some things to look sexier, which I find annoying. For me it's about the cooking.

It's a great combination. Nigella would make pretty much the perfect wife.

I could live with a lot of things being married to Nigella Lawson.

Nooo - they're great. I have a fair number that I've mastered, bastardized and now call my own. |

I've never even seen the Nigella program let alone read her recipes! I feel like I'm missing out on something here.
Although speaking of cooking people my brother met Gordon Ramsey the other week at some chef do or other, apparantly he's really nice (my brothers hero!)

squeaks and I used to watch it religiously, and sigh and coo and let out the occasional "oh hugh" but most people thought we were nuts. Such a beautiful little life he had there, and his books are superb, my dad has them (and won't let me steal them which I think is selfish)
Yeah, fuck skinny, I want to be fed by Hugh, every day a self sufficient feast.

Thinking back to the start of the thread, one for the ladies, do you have a preference in the males? the skinny boys, the muscly lads or the cuddlesomes?
I'm all about the cuddlesome guys, lovely cuddly cuddles.
I like that word, I'm going to use it more often. But do you know what I mean? a bit of meat to the man?
To answer this important question, what matters most to me in a guy isn't skinny or meaty, but his IQ.

apologies - a Mae Westism that I thought was most appropriate for the thread.
I don't have a type as such. If someone captures my imagination and intrigues me then that's pretty much it.
As for the being skinny/fat - it's been interesting to watch the way people treat me and how that's changed over the past couple of months. |

There's a new show on TV called Hell's Kitchen where Gordon Ramsey verbally abuses a bunch of chefs and one by one he eliminates them and the last one wins their own restaurant. He really really really does not seem so nice on that show.

Because women are conditioned to measure themselves based on body/weight, many of them get weirded out around a skinny woman, like it's a competition they've lost by not being the only size 4 in the room.

I don't know I've experienced quite the opposite. I'm always fairly skinny (except now ;), hyperactive metabolism. Once I took the birth control shot and I gained about 30 pounds. Wow, what a sociological experiment. Whereas sometimes guys would open doors for me that happened no more... It was quite the eye opening experience I tell ya.

I know eh?
I'm sure it's just a put on, cause I'm sure he would of caught a left hook by now. Or some urine in the sauce.

I guess my reply got lost cause I'm an idiot.
I said that I believe his crap-infused attitude must be a put on, cause he would have recieved a good left hook by now. Or some lovely urine sauce.

Well my brother asked the Ramsey about this when he met him, about the talking shit to people, and it's entirely to motivate them, because if they are sub par or people dick him about he gives them hell, when they work to their best he's great with them.
There's a show on right now where he goes into failing businesses and tells them how to mend it, and the people never like it, they usually swear back at him but within the week he turns them around, really because he is so into what he does.
It's weird but it works
