You gotta watch that "movie brain"...cause you know when you finally come out of your shell and find "the one" she'll just go to some brain erasure company and wipe you out completely.
oh, wait. Thats been done.
I should fess up - when I first got here, I had a crush on tre...and then I had a crush on coldheartofstone...now I just watch from afar. Don't really have a crush on anyone...but was in love with one of the teachers at my son's school for a while...then I wasn't. Selfishly, I think I actually want to be single for quite some time to come, but the father in me wants my son to have a family unit...which he does, but you know - one that lives in the same house.
Anyway - there ya go. Now the rest of you pasty losers need to tellall. |

Everyone has a crush on Coldheartofstone, I think it's in the rules section of the FAQ. Also, I think I know Caroly's one Kathryn, so tell me your's and I'll tell you hers...

Cheesey, you tried for how long to get out of me the sacred name of my beloved sfc, via email, remember? Didin't work, did it?
Besides, I know who Carolyn lusts after, forum-wise.
Homers, a friend of mine met his wife exactly as you described. Went in for a job interview and now they are married. It's a sweet story, but a long one and god forbid I should go off topic. Keep hope alive, I say!

quote: This is weird 'cos I was gonna 'fess up tonight on here. I think I am rather sad (hold the front page). Seriously there is something wrong with me. Sometimes I see a girl and without even having ever seen her before or spoken to her, I just start imagining a life with her. I did it today on the bus, I saw this girl and I just thought 'WOW', and I started imagining us going out, doing stuff together (not even sex, I can't even be classified as a pervert), just generally falling in love. I even pictured the scene where she told me she was pregnant.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!?!?!?
You have an overactive imagination?
That's not necessarily a bad thing, mind you. You just have to channel it into more productive areas. Or something like that.

This is such a delightful topic. I haven't been posting as frequently as I'd like to, otherwise I'd be able to relate to this thread more. Although, I tend to develop a brief, fleeting little crush on any girl who posts something really nice and heartfelt, just cause those types are easier to relate to. And there is plenty of that type on this forum. So keep up the good work, girls! It's kinda like whenever I meet a girl who likes the Pixies, it makes my heart go pitter-patter for a few moments, until I have to convince myself that there are other important traits in a woman besides whether or not she likes the Pixies.
And I'll echo the "wtf" to the Kathryn-slander earlier. I had some pretty rocky times last fall, and a couple nice emails from her went a long way for comfort. She's definately one of our finest. Though I can understand if someone comes in from spending a great deal of time on another forum where harsh words are never taken seriously. It's a bad deal when somebody hops on board and his/her personality clashes, despite that person being pretty cool. I don't know all the ins and outs of this situation, but I like to give people the benifit of the doubt. Everybody has something to offer this forum. I'd just prefer to keep it positive. |

I also think (and this answers a question floop posed a few days ago) that it's perfectly normal to "check out" people even when you're in a good relationship. Just have a quick look-see. No one gets hurt. It's natural and unavoidable. I don't get how some people think it's a sign of relationship trouble if you just notice someone's hot.

You might wanna seek medical help for that nasty case of bee envy. Does it itch and burn?

Hmm. Letsee, we know that Dayanara's sfc is married. We also know that he's
"really smart " .... Erebus? Can't be, he's single (ladies?). darwin? Jeez, who else on here is married but darwin and Denis?
"like totally funny" ... floop. Again, unmarried. Hm.
"way hottt" (I like the three Ts!) Well, both Denis and darwin are hot, I'm not sure if they're three Ts worth of hot.
Anyone else care to tackle this? It's a mystery to me because I can't think of which other guys here are married.
