Carolyn your corn looks way more impressive than ours!

But I think I can trump your pepper flower...:)

The first tomato fruiting:

It would be Simons plant :(

That's a little tiny watermelon? That's amazing!
It's still kind of exciting though, I've never really been able to do these gardeny things before. I've helped in other peoples gardens but never my own.

Toba, the woman said she'd replace the fence but it's nearly two weeks and we've seen little to suggest it.

Hehe, to be fair, the whole plant is probably a quarter the size of yours. I'm more amazed that we haven't killed it to be honest!

That watermelon patch looks cool, and Floop you appear to have an amazing place on the hillside. I've been taking care of our little orchard this year, I'll have to get some pics of what's growing on.

Well now mine have way outgrown their cages.

you know what that picture makes them look more spindly than they are.

i think maybe yours are more bushy because you're growing bell peppers. also known as girlyman peppers.

Hey Caroly! Nice pot(s).

About your lack o peppers, you might not be getting any pollination in there. You can pollinate the plants by hand with a small paintbrush - I see there's lots of flowers on em still. Most pepper plants are asexual, so you don't need to pollinate from one plant to another, just try and get to all the flowers for lots of fruit. If you plan on saving seeds from em for next year, you might want to change brushes between species to avoid possible cross-pollination/hybrids next year. Unless you're into that sort of thing...

I could be wrong - you might have a bunch o bugs in there and it's because of something else, but just in case.

Floop - your place and peppers look amazing, and I like your pots too.
