I THINK I will become the age of Mr Frank Black himself. And like him, I have achieved so much ;-)
Our pretend post-sex would in near certainty resemble:
Her to him: Ugggghh Him to her: Ugghhh Silence: (ten seconds) Him to her: That was good Her to him: (weary sigh)Yeah Him to her: We should do this more often Her to him: (Stifling a yawn) Yeah Him to her: Can you book me in for sometime in September? Her to him: Would you get off now, please? Both: (loud snoring) Nearby cot: Waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh |

You made me laugh, Andy - even if it is tragic in an old married kind of way. The ending was especially lovely. "Waaahhh" indeed.
I am home today, didn't want to deal with work and seeing anyone.
Blah. |

No. I don't know what else could happen now. I just want to be done. Sadly, I left my wallet at his best friend's house on Saturday, so I will probably have to see him this week at some point to get it back. Yesterday on the phone, he just sounded sad and confused, which just makes it worse.
Not to be undignified but IT FUCKING SUCKS! |

He sounds really lost. I fear that if you wait for him to come to his senses a few decades will have passed. Not that it will be easy, but it sounds as if it is time to move on.
PS - my predictions are notoriously inaccurate. |

Seems pretty accurate to me, Andy. But it doesn't make it any easier - you know. |

No Frank for me this tour, I'm afraid. The nearest is Dallas (6 hour drive) or Nashville (7 hour). I suppose it's only fair, though--we did see him twice last year. <sniffle>
Em, I think a "mental health day" off from work seems perfectly justified. (I used to take hangover days, which is just sad.)

Okay, signing off and possibly going back to bed.
Thank you all for your words, they mean a lot. Now, if you could only form a gang and go beat some sense into that Motard...

There may be no 'I' in team, but there's a 'ME' if you look hard enough. |

Hey Barry, you're at 555 posts. (Not sure exactly what the significance of 555 is, though. "Hey, 111 more to go, Satan!")
Apropos of the number of the Beast, my father-in-law turned 66 yesterday. Bob, with his usual sense of decorum, cheerfully told him, "Hey Dad! 600 more years and you'll be the Devil!" (I hate to think what he might blurt out when poor Mr. E. turns 69!) |

Thanks dear! Very good so far - I am keeping the work to a minimum. We had a great meal out last night. I also have been listening to a radio show on my computer from last night - and my email was read out. Brilliantly, he then read out that I had requested either San Antonio, Tx or Southbound Bevy from Frank Black, but played Dylan instead! Then again, it was the magisterial Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands. |

Happy Birthday, Mr. MacGregor!!
I'm just doing the hi-and-bye thing this morning. . . have to go to Little Rock and help my father un-decorate his xmas tree. (He's going through a divorce and hasn't gotten around to it yet, and it's starting to depress him.)
Em, you need lots of chocolate and the Syd Straw album War and Peace. (I won't tell you to feel better soon. . . you'll feel better when you feel better.)
Y'all have a lovely Tuesday.

Andy, what is that - half a boob flash? I can't tell. Are you doing anything special today? Or was your dinner out your only event?
Just got an email from the best friend, now am in tears. Yay!

See the edit - mereubu has been reduced to a threesome.
No more special events - a meal in tonight with the girls - that will be great.
So sorry Em, do you have to go to work today? |

Am already here. Trying to work and blaring the Rolling Stones. Well, "blaring" in terms of playing quietly at my desk.
UGH. Just want to feel BETTER and BE DONE! And I want him to MOVE OFF MY STREET! Is that too much to ask?
Glad about the dinner, that will be nice. I hope it is a lovely year for you, with much good music and fun with healthy gals. |

it would be great of he moved - as you say, moving on is not very easy when you are liable to bump into the motard every day.
Thank you so much for the good wishes. All the best Em, and indeed all the HH inhabitants.
'Bye for now |
