I don't think the instructor thought that I was cute. A hippo on ball bearings possibly... Hope things improve soon Zan. |

Yeah, they're doing ok, thanks. Just other 'grown up' issues with me, so luckily they are fine. It's been so fucking cold here, it's a pain in the ass just to do the every day stuff. Things could be worse, I should really check my attitude. There are so many with much bigger problems in life, I should count my blessings.

Zan, sweetie, I saw a guy on TV this morning who was in a car accident and had to have his HEAD reattached - so it could be worse. But it is hard to think about that stuff when you feel low down. Anyway, thanks for being there.
You guys rule. |

I love the giant toothpick, it's the Irish Eiffel Tower! Was it suppossed to be up by the Millennium but instead we got a countdown clock in the Liffy that no one could read! It's Dublins escalator to nowhere!

I think they have 500 old women cellotapedª to the base who are praying that God's hand will come down and change it and the tourists also like that sort of thing?! I used to love and go draw those shopping trollies when I was in college on Thomas street but I used to get stuff thrown at me by "knackers" so I never got much stuff done!(how arty is drawing fucking shopping trollies exposed at low tide so I probably deserved to get stuff thrown at me;) ha ha!

Yep bazza, NCAD was great crack, still miss it to this day, Ann Summers!! thats where I bought all my Christmas presents last year! and some crouchless knickers for myself!(uhh disturbing, sorry)! I'd say those ladies who protested outside it could do with a couple of pairs! hee hee. What time zone is the time beside our postings in, where is it nearly 12?

Do you know of a publisher, Golly? I suspect most publishers would run a mile if they saw the content of the HH. |

The old HH. We love you so.
Morning all. So interesting turn of events - right when I got home last night, Drummer Boy appeared. Very apologetic and so forth. Just when you think he's out - he jumps back in the game. Hmmm...
Hope you're all well

Not really - I mean we talked about everything for the first time, and it was much more relaxed and normal. I told him I prefer my "Friend Bob" to "Weird Relationship Bob", among other things. He admitted he was spineless and I think he was just very taken aback by everything I had said the night before. Like once he mulled it over, he realized that I was being really honest and he was being a shit. |

That sounds a lot better, but could "friend Bob" yet metamorphose into "decent relationship Bob"? |

I don't know yet. I think we have to be friends again - in a HONEST way - for awhile. I am still hurt, and I don't trust him, so I guess we have to just see what happens. He is kind of a cluless dummy, but he is still cute. He hung out for like two hours and we talked about all the nerdy stuff we both love - music, books, et al. We were looking up words in the dictionary for heaven's sake! Oy! |

A quantum leap forward, Em. You must be feeling a lot more upbeat and a lot less confused! (Good luck today Sarah!) |

Thanks, I do feel better. It was sad to think that was it. No matter what happens now, at least I spoke up.
Yeah, good luck Sarah!! I hope it goes fabulously today - I know we will all be anxious to hear how great you do. |

its not all that "new" - it came out in may, and its pretty good. lo-fi indie rock type stuff, with guests from members of spoon, death cab for cutie and a few others.

Aaaggghhhhh!!!
I'm finally home! It went fine, really, but Z came to our bed with her case of sniffles at 2:30 this morning and triggered a marathon bout of insomnia, so I've been up since then. Blecch. The classes went ok, but I need to figure out how to get past the blank stares of the big class. They're not people; they're sheeple. (Of course I did make them watch a Samuel Beckett play at nine in the morning, so I guess I was sort of asking for it.) But I didn't faint or freak out or anything. I think I did clutch my head a couple of times and say, "uh, hang on a minute while I (mutter, mutter, mutter.)" They would just nod obediently until I found my train of thought again. I'm sure they're terrified at the prospect of 41 more classes with the crazy muttering Beckett lady in the theatre basement.
Good news about your Bob, Em! It'd be nice if you could at least get a decent friend out of this deal. |
