| toeknee, don't fear Brixton!! I live in Streatham, just down the road, and I've been to Brixton hundreds of times - it's justanother bit of London! As has been suggested don't walk about waving wads of cash around, but I would say that goes for almost anywhere in the capital, and you will be fine. Happy even. And the Academy is ony of the best venues in town to see bands in. |

i really do object to this waiting by the phones/modems for 9am. i've had to do this for other bands before, why the hell can't they make it 11am? much more sociable.
alternatively, make them available on a tuesday or something so only people who really care (i.e. would take a day off work to do it) would be able to get tickets.
i'm reckoning 50% of the tickets will go to touts. |

the most annoying thing happened, i had wayahead.com and gigsandtours.com (which i believe is just a subdivision anyway) and wayahead put them on sale first to me, so i clicked order, and it was taking ages, and then gigsandtours put them up, so i thought i'll click on this too and see which loads first... meanwhile wayhead was loaded and forgetting about gigsandtours i start filling out the form, not realising that gigsandtours is loading in the window... so just before i confirm my details, the other one loads up and i have to fill in that again!

I did the same, Steve, but on purpose! I thought I'd have ticketweb and gigsandtours going simultaneously to create some extra chances of Pixie-ness in June. Good job I didn't accidentally shell out an extra hundred-odd squid though!
