Conan is the college kid's fave. When I first saw Leno, years ago, he seemed like a cool guy...then slowly he transformed...the phoney L.A tan...the grey mullet...getting pissed off at Green Day for knocking over chairs, hardly the cutting edge of shock television...

Leno's show is just dumb.. he used to be good when he started out in stand-up.. but his show is just insulting..
Kilborn is worse because not only is he not funny, but he seems like such an asshole.. just that whole East Coast, Ivy League privlidged kid thing..
in all fairness he could be a cool guy, but i'm doubting it..
Conan O'Brian is pretty much the only show i watch on TV

Come on, that's Kilborn's whole schtick. And I don't think he qualifies as East Coast/Ivy League.
But I will agree that he's even less funny than Leno. Whoever's writing for Kilborn should stick to WB sitcoms.

Being a foreigner, I'm really only familiar with Letterman, Leno and O' Brian...at least Conan used to write for the Simpsons. Leno was an inspiration for Bill Hicks, originally (believe it or not), and Letterman championed Hicks and had him on a lot...until he mentioned abortion and they pulled the plug on him!

Leno is horrible. I love Bill Hicks' rant on how horrible Leno is, the only time I can stand to watch Leno is if there is someone I really like as the guest, or if Kevin Smith is doing Roadside Attractions. Dave Chappelle used to do some funny stuff for that show too, but Leno fucking sucks. I want to puke when I watch Leno try to give someone an interveiw. Bob Saget is funnier and delivers a joke better.
Conan is by far my fave, he's very quick witted and always funny, and he is a decent interveiwer.
Letterman is at least a decent interveiwer but not so much for hot women. Once a hot woman comes on his show, it might as well be Leno giving the interveiw. One of my favorite episodes of Letterman was when he ripped Seinfeld's cocky ass a new bunghole. That was great, Letterman really brought Seinfeld back down to size, not many people could or would do that, but I loved it.
I like Kilborn sometimes, but I only watch it during commercials on Conan or if there is someone I really want to see.
I used to watch Tom Green's talk show every night for the 6 weeks it was on the air. I'm pissed that it was taken off the air, that show was cool to me.

I hate Leno but my wife likes him. Usually I can get her to at least let me to listen to the beginning of Letterman so that I don't have to suffer through Leno's awful monologs. Leno is just NOT FUNNY. Letterman used to be funnier but I still enjoy his show. Conan is the current king I'd say. The local affiliates here don't show Kimmel for some reason. I saw it once at my mother-in-law's house and, while it didn't suck, it didn't really blow me away either.
I will say about Leno I don't mind if the guests don't suck. I just can't stand his monologs at all. (To be fair Dave's and Conan's suck too but not nearly as bad as Leno's.) Headlines is funny but that shit writes itself.
