Does anyone know what happened in 1826? it sounds like some kind of Indian (native american, not india) war or something. i was thinking trail of tears at first, but that was in the late 1830's.
trying to understand his songs is like being a detective sometimes, i love it. piecing together clues. but sometimes i have to give up and ask.
i have no answer to that query....but i do share the same problem of piecing together some of the references and sympathize with you.....however, i sure am glad i dont need to have a dictionary handy for devil's workshop and b.l. days....i will be interested to know if any of you perceptive bastards can clue us in to 1826
