I guess this is kinda like the best song in the history of the world post. Instead just list up to 5 songs that you really can't stop listening to or I dunno whatever.
I have a thing for Fugazi's the argument at the moment and in particular Epic Problem. That song is great its everything you could want from a 'rock' song. Can't stop listening to it. Also I've been listening to The Libertines Don't look back into the sun (just that song) alot. I like the snazzy little riff in there.
Makes a change from mclusky and Frank. |

"Blue Tears" by The Black Heart Procession and "What He Ain't And Is" by Vic Chesnutt have been fascinating me for weeks now.
Sorry, there ain't room for five songs at a time in my poor head.

"Teeth" is fabulous! Of course everything she's ever written is at least brilliant. "This hairdo's truly evil/I'm not sure it's mine..."

Hi jedi,
well I have recently moved to London for a few years....guess i should change my profile. but i believe I am the TM fan u emailed - it does sound awfully familiar. what you doing in Blenheim? it is a really nice wee city/town - an ex used to live there so i spent quite a while staying there.
but yes, teeth is amazing....it was great to hear it a couple of weeks ago at her gig at the barbican hall....made my night. my favourite lyric is "you're so tall, it's like I climb a waterfall" mainly because my wife is considerably shorter than me, so it sums us up perfectly. |

Whoa... entering trippy territory here:
- I was at the Barbican too!
- My wife is also considerably shorter than me and I relate to that lyric just as much as you do!
Funny, isn't it?
I'm going to Blenheim to visit friends, South Africans who emigrated in January this year.
Oh and I'm listening to Vic Chesnutt right now. "West Of Rome", wonderful album. Just to try and stay on topic as much as possible

Did you know: Teenage Kicks is John Peel's favourite pop song ever? And the man knows what he's talking about.

Speedy, I saw above that you included Broken Social Scene. I've been meaning to buy "You Forgot it in people" for quite some time now. Whenever I go to borders or bestbuy with the intent of purchasing this album, I always tend to end up with something else. Is the album worth getting? I've only heard good things about it. Any reccomendation would be appreciated.

It's a terrific album Sir, I recommend it highly. One of the best releases of the last few years, no doubt. It's quite varied, non-generic, beautiful, melodic, ambient, arty and yet not totally out there. It's quite good. It's tough to get bored because there's so many styles, so many different singers, it's just really good. You won't be dissapointed. |

I finally checked out BSS the other day. I remembered you asked me about Rachel's once, speedy - since you like BSS, I thought I'd let you know that I think you would probably enjoy Rachel's - I'm eager to get their newest release. |
