Hi all,
Would anyone here be willing to send me a box (24) of peanut butter Twix? These are not available to me as I live in the UK :-(
I have been suffering from withdrawal symptoms since coming back off holiday from the states.
I will of course pay for shipping etc

So... any takers?

I'm in pain....got the shakes etc.

Oh you poor dear. When I lived in the UK for 6 months, I went through terrible chocolate-peanut butter withdrawal. Sympathetic relatives would occasionally send me Reese's, but it wasn't enough. I eventually developed a debilitating Nutella addiction.

A few days ago I wanted to have a Kitkat Chunky
cost: 55 eurocent

So I put my 50ct piece and my 5ct piece in the machine
it was the kinda machine with a window where you can see
all the junkfood in spirals with a code on them
when you put your money in the machine and dial the code
the spiral will move so that the first piece of food will fall down
in to a box where you can pick it up

where was I? Oh yes, so I put my money in the machine and dialed E4, and the spiral started moving. But what the F? The first spot in the spiral was empty! so nothing fell down! Instead of that, I paid 55ct so the Kitkatchunky spiral is indeed filled from the beginning, like it should have been in the first place.
I was very angry

BUT!!!!!!

do you think good old Bill would leave it that way?

well?

off course not

I stood up for my rights and put in another 55ct and had the Kitkatchunky I wanted

HA!!!

that will teach them

lazy old weirdcandyspiralmachine-filler-fuckers

No doubt. You used to be able to get your hand up in the machine to fish out the recalcitrant candy, but no more. Shaking the machine rarely gets you what you want either (which I guess is why they put that label on there w/a picture of the machine falling on the poor, hapless little person.)

Way to stick it to The Man, Jop!

Its too weird when they have perishable foods in those spiral thingys. I wonder how often they change those datecakes or hamburgers or whatever.

So when did Twix start with a peanut butter job? I've never heard this before. Sounds like something I'd love to become addicted to!

The sweetest is when you find a machine with someone's stubborn snack hanging from the spiral. Then you can pay your money and hope for a two for one.

About 15 years ago Cadbury's used to make a chocolate bar called Cabana, it had coconut and cherries inside, it was fantastic!
Then one cold winters day they just stopped making them.

I emailed them to ask if they are going to bring it back, but they said no, and that 'They stopped producing it because of a lack of interest in the product' I tried to speak to Willy Wonka, but they said he was not real and that I should stop emailing and phoning them.

I am too upset to continue.....bastards!

So please send me a box of peanut butter Twix to make up for all the chocolate injustices in the world.

I will be forever in your debt (well, not really 'cos I will pay for the Twix)

Oh god, not the marmite. Anything but marmite. When I was in England for a semester, a guy from Dover tried to convince me it was the bees' knees. We broke up.

Any serving suggestions you might recommend? I used to hate spinach, but I got over that (except I never drink milk with it - ewww chalky teeth!!!).

This "spice up lots of things" has gotten my interest, at least...What do you eat it on? If memory serves me, I remember it tastes like yeast mixed with dark molasses mixed with sulfur and dirt ;) - am I way far off?

uh huh! nutella's too dee-lishusss! I have to steer clear of it when I see it in the store, or I'll be eating the whole jar before the week is out. Do you eat it on toast only, or do you have any nutella recipe suggestions?

I generally prefer no pulp in my orange juice, but I'll drink it either way.
