Hello FB.net denizens...
This post is kind of unusual, yet I spend more time here than any other 'forum' of any kind on the internet. So I feel compelled to share.

Dated 8/30/04 is an entry that says "A Dare, A Greek, and some Scorpio Vodka"
This contains a link filmed by none other than yours truly, and the crazy Greek in the video is one of my best friends, this guy Jason. You can hear me shouting behind the camera towards the end...plus I throw in some drunken, impatient comments like "There we go" and "Let's get to it" or some shit like that
Yes, the scorpion was real.
Yes, we polished off the bottle of vodka before this incident occured.
He described it as being "crunchy on the outside, mushy on the inside". He also likened it to chewing through hard plastic filled with vodka and indescript mush.
I never thought I would witness a sight like this one, unless I found myself in some ratty little bar in Tijuana, Mexico or something. Little did I know... |

it's the candid comments/reactions that make that video so priceless...plus Jason's face after he actually swallows that thing. everyone thought I was taking pictures, so they were unaware that i was actually filming a video on my camera

Carolyn- the vodka is called Skorppio Vodka (pretty sure that's how its spelled)
Much like tequila w/ a worm on the bottom, this stuff has a scorpion instead. It's like a Cracker Jack prize for the insanely drunk and/or insane.

Yeah, in the bottle of this vodka is a blade of grass pissed on by a bison, it has a proper name I can't remember right now and it's a damned smooth vodka. Greenish in tinge and high in percentage.. it's lovely, very strong and by the fourth shot you really don't care who pissed in it

Ha, found it, it's called Wisent. We always called it bisons piss vodka though, although boringly it looks like it may be just a type of grass called Bisons Grass, How bloody dull, my illusions are shattered, damn this thread. Damn it. I hope thats not right.. searching...
Banned in the US is this Vodka though!

Tre- you are the first person ever to lament the fact that vodka you've consumed did not contain Bison urine. To each his/her own!

apparantly it thins the blood so was considered carcinogenic (made no sense to me) I did see a letter of appeal from a guy with heart trouble, wanting to know if he could forsake his daily asprin and consume this vodka instead, did make me chuckle.
And the bison piss thing would have been cooler than a stupid blade of stupid grass

it's boring, like a piece of grass is boring.
The vodka can be hard to find here but if you stumble accross it really worth purchasing, I have a craving now, my dad's on holiday.. would it be bad of me to go rob his spirit cellar?

Carolyn- yeah, I noticed the prevalence of "fuck" in all its wonderful conjugations. Our potty mouths were only exacerbated by our obtuse drunkenness. I think there's often something strangely sexy about a woman cussing...guys just come off sounding like dumb brutes.
Tre- make him some homemade Kahlua AND some alcoholic Dr. Pepper, then maybe you'll be in business... (:

I've had that Bison liqour. It's Polish. Good stuff! Can't get the real stuff in the states due to the blood thinning thing. A polish girl had some and was putting it in apple juice. It tasted like apple pie. It was great! Kabruvka or something like that. I wish I could find some over here. I was looking online for a while.

I am wondering whether your friend was sick after eating the scorpian... it says right on the bottle not to eat it. We have a bottle and have been debating whether someone should try it. |
