Am I the only one to think that Blown Away is a weird choice to appear in the Pixies setlist?
Don't get me wrong - I think its a fine song, but considering the 'greatest hits' style of the rest of live stuff it just seems like a curious choice, considering how little of Boss/Trompe has made it to the current setlist.

Blown Away is awesome and I loved that they put it in the live sets...

I know what you mean; but then again, if it's a Greatest Hits tour, what exactly WERE the "hits" off Bossanova/Trompe?
Super song, and maybe it's in there because it showcases the idiosyncracies of Joey's guitar playing very well. |

And why Winterlong, or In Heaven, or WOM UK Surf? Strange, but all the reunion tour is a strange thing.

How can it be a Greatest hits tour? Pixies were a cult band at their peak, and only recieved moderate success so you could argue the inclusion of any song, personally i love Blown Away, it is an epic song. But i ain't heard it live. |

I've been to two Pixies shows this tour, and I haven't heard 'Blown Away' or 'Subbacultcha', Yet :P
I think the choice of songs in the sets comes down to Charles not wanting to play certain songs from the latter albums because he doesn't think they compare well with the others. Many fans, however, will disagree.
