| great job matt, especially like the Word stuff - the height of late night cool in it's day! but jeez did you see that guy dancing with his back to the band! you should get someone to do some editing to black him out - you know, like they did in music videos that were a bit too raunchy, he's far too offensive for public consumption!!!! |

but the quality is not very good, it depend of the file or the programm?

If you're talking about the letterman one that's pretty good quality so it must be the program. In terms of the other files it's unfortunately the file. The quality of the originals that I have aren't the greatest in the first place. Also I had to make them in fairly low quality to have enough bandwith to host them. If I put them up with really good quality the file size would be 10 times bigger and my site would get shut down because of the number of people downloading. I'm already using half my bandwith per month and I have more stuff that I want to put up.

I put up quite a few more things from a torrent that was linked from the pixies dvd torrent alert thread. There's 120 minutes from 1991, the first letterman appearance, and both Dennis Miller appearances.

Great performance of Trompe le Monde at the letterman show, with additional bassit, guitar, drummer, keyboard (cool solo), Frank and Kim playing acoustic guitar....dave sticking the air....I remember the Catholics....

after watching the trompe clip, id be really pissed if i was dave or kim, not getting to play their own instruments. that whole ten person thing is bullshit, i cant blame them for having some hostility at that time. but imagine if you saw them for the first time on letterman, youd probably be saying "holy shit, do they need that many people in the band?"
