YES! Finally on vacation. I´m on the azores (Sao Miguel) with my girlfriend and it is fantastic. We´ve climbed and bathed in volcanic lakes, hot springs, hot waterfalls (yep - must have been 40c), hot oceans (incredible), drove around the island and relaxed relaxed relaxed. It~s a good place, not too hot (around 25c), but good and warm with a cooling breeze from the ocean. From pico barossa you can see endless ocean in three directions. Great landscape, a bunch of small pictoresque villages by the ocean. O la la. Best thing - we have one more week to spend here. YEAH. Highly recomended.

Sounds great, Ivan. I always have nightmare vacation stories, so its good to hear the positives once in a while!

I´m glad you liked, I´ve been there spending my hollidays too. I´ve been on Horta and went to Pico also.
Azores are not touristic yet thats why is so beautiful!

I was supposed to go out there the first two weeks of august with a buddy of mine who was going for soccer.
I bought a house so the money went else where.
What does the surf look like this time of year over there?
