i'm just sayin', if you're talking about "je t'aime... moi non plus" it is a common misconception that it's he and Bridget Bardot. he originally recorded it with her and she thought it was too racy and refused to let it be released. so he re-recorded it with Jane Berkin.. unless you're talking about another one. but either way, it is silly indeed. that song cracks me up.
it's even more silly when you find out what the lyrics are :

Its explanation is that girls say "I love you" during sex, and the man with their ridiculous virility doesn't believe them. They think the girls only say it as a result of enjoyment, of pleasure. I guess i believe the girls, or maybe that's a result of my fear. But that's also an aesthetic step, a search of absoluteness" |
