I was curious about people’s opinions on perving.
Not gross perving, but merely appreciating attractive women……specifically with people in relationships…
Do you talk with your other half about hot girls that you see walking down the street etc?
I’m wondering cause my wife and I always talk about hotties with big tits and stuff that we see while we’re wandering around and we even have a code developed so people won’t realise what we’re talking about…..
Is this usual, or am I just lucky to have a pervert for a wife?
And single girls – how would you feel if your man started talking to you about the tits on the girl who just walked past you as you’re walking down the street hand in hand?
Obviously this can apply equally as well to males, but we don’t do that as much, hence why I used females as my example….

When I was with my last girlfriend, she had a good idea of what kind of girls I was going to check out, so she'd always look at my face to see me checking them out. Then she'd say, often with a tone of humor and a slight 'you bastard' tone, "I saw that. You totally checked her out." It was funny.
I really really really like women; the way they look, the way they sound, the way they move, the way they smell, the way they think. I just wish more of them liked me. 
I am quite a pervert. I think about sex a lot. I don't get it very often. I have no macking skills. I feel like it's disrespectful to women to put the moves on them, I feel like they're wiser than me and will call me out on my bullshit. It's weird. I wish I had some game cuz I would like to experience that whole world of sleeping with lots of awesome, intelligent, hot (in many different and weird ways) women.

Thought I'd add a female perspective to this - though probably not your average one.
Some of the work I handle is of an adult nature shall we say (cheap bad porn!) - so I've seen my fair share of naked female flesh. It also now means that I spend as much of my time checking women out as what I do men and also land up having to point out good boobs/nice ass/great legs to whoever happens to be close by man or woman alike. This does mean that I am sometimes looked at as if I am some kind of sexual predator, but hey if you're so damn stuck up to not appreciate something aesthetically pleasing, then thats your damn problem - lifes too short for apologies for other peoples hang ups.
I also suspect that far more women spend their time checking out other women than they let on - shall we call it assessing the competition. I think if more women realised that men just love the fact that they are women (complete with boobs and all those other fun bits) they'd maybe lighten up a bit. |

I dont mind it when im in a relationship if my man looks at other women in the street. HOWEVER - make a comment about an attractive friend, mutual acquaintance, girl he works with any one who he has the opportunity of speaking to, that is another story. Another story entirely.
I always check out good looking guys in the street and stuff, and have been known to do so quite obviously, and even mildly flirt....admittedly, this only is the case when im in a bad mood with my partner at the time, or he has done something of the same vain...or if i feel hes forgetting just how goddam lucky he is to be wih me and i could leave him for another guy at any minute! haha. Gotta keep em on their toes.
But as surfer rosa was saying, I think I probably spend about 60% of my day checking out other women. More so than i do guys. Much more in fact.

it's funny when i was younger i used to think guys who would have a detectable reaction to attractive women were pathetic.
but as i get older (and supposedly past my peak libido, yeah right) i can't fucking help it. if a girl is hot enough when i'm driving by in my car it's like a rock just hit me in the face. it physically hurts. like waving a ruben in front of a starving man. |

I don't think that's perving... I think perving is continuing to harass someone after they say back off. Actually, I think some women would like it being checked out by you and your girlfriend and some wouldn't. I actually like it when people are checking me out... sometimes people will say stuff like nice ass... I always say thank you...I tell my husband about it and we laugh.
Also, I think that's cool that you and your girlfriend are that close. I tend to laugh when my husband is oogling other women..men are wired that way and can't help it...but I think a lot of women get bent out of shape too, so consider your self a lucky man. |

I hate it when people make it obvious. If I look at a girl then I do so discreetly, with a bit of tact. If I am in a relationship then it rarely happens at all. I guess if I was in a really long relationship, then this may change after a while, I dunno.

I very much appreciate the female form. Beautiful women do things to my brain. They make me crazy. I always pointed out hot girls to my ex and that probably wasn't very cool/mature of me. I think my problem, though, is that when I see a hot girl, I instantly think "I wonder what she looks like naked...I'd love to fuck her." I chalk that up to overactive hormones and way too much porn/masturbation.

For instance, I am currently sitting in my college computer room. Theres not very many people in here, say around 10/12.
I always sit right at the back of the room in the corner. There were two of the computer guys chatting a moment ago, near the front. I dont know what about ( listening to SMYT) but they kept looking over at me.
Then as they walked out one of them smiled, licked his lips, and winked at me., Then continued out of the door, looking back at me, and to my ammusement almost walked in to the door frame.
As I write this, they have re entered, and hes still staring at me. Creep.

Was considering making a complaint, as fair enough in the street, but in college i expect to be at least a little free from being ogled at. Especially from staff. But then whats the point? Im wearing a low cut top, obviously im asking for it.
Of course, it is flattering when a guy is attracted to you. BUT there are much more subtle ways of doing it. Unfortunately that seems to be beyond most guys. The non sleazy, non creepy, non drooling, admiring look up and down, is fine, im fine with that. But there are limits. Like obviously staring at my tits. Obviously trying to look up my skirt. I think the nicest way to show your 'appreiciation' is eye contact, and a smile,. not a sleazy smile, just a smile. guys that do that will always have my respect. Obviously in clubs/pubs/gigs environment its a different story..

I think it also gets worse as you get older because you have more experience and have more ideas for all the things you can DO with & to that female form.
GypsyDeath's computer room post was really good, too. Observing the body language of attraction and flirtation is a huge interest of mine. I think I'm obsessed. I'm always watching couples or men and women flirting, with the intent of spotting the body language subtleties happening between them. The point is to be better at recognizing when a woman is attracted to me ("the sign of her love behavior", baby) and also to avoid communicating the creepy vibes that GypsyDeath describes. Men and women have some unique behaviors they do when faced with someone they like sexually. And these are totally compulsive body language things (meaning we do them without thinking about it). One thing men and women have in common is licking their lips (as they look at the one they're attracted to), I've noticed. And it's not always this sultry act. Sometimes it's very mundane and easy to miss. |

I agree. I really like when I'm passing a hot girl and we both smile at each other. It's a subtle smile, and even though I'll probably never see the girl again, it was still an enjoyable 3 seconds.

The best thing to d is if you make eye contact with someone in the street, and are attracted to them, count to 5, and turn around. if they are looking at you then they you will be 'in there' as they say.
Regarding the body lanuage thing - if a girl shows the inside of her wrists, touches the back of her neck, shes usually attracted to whomever shes talking to.

I have to be very careful about about how I look at people. My eyes can be incredibly intense, and a lot of people find it difficult holding eye contact. alot of people would say i was incredibly intimidating due to my eyes. I can make people feel however I want by just one look. which is pretty cool, but for about two years, i went around with sunglasses on!
Ive got it a bit more undercontrol now though, and can sort of mute it, if you like.
I have to say trre, the guys i fancied at school, id sort of flirt with...call me insane! haha.
