I know Tre had read this. But has anyone else. Some people will tell you it's ultra-disturbing. I will agree that I can see how people will find it that way, but I mostly think of it as a clever, well-written book with some hilarious moments, and some super-fucked up moments. I really don't know how much I should say about it since I wouldn't want to give anything away to those who have not placed themselves on the little island where the young boy in the novel has his little battles. I suppose I could say spoilers. Okay
SPOILERS
I can't even remember the main character's name off the top of my head. I know his midget friend was Jamie and his brother was Eric, but I can't remember the main kid's name.
Anyway, which murder is your favorite of the three he committs. I'm partial to the sea mine one simply because the video for Backworlds by the band Lusk WAS this murder. It was a really good video and song. And that's how I found out about the Wasp Factory, one some snob said, "Ah, that's ripped from Iain Banks' Wasp Factory. Blatant theft!" I knew I had to read the book then.

My fave is the "theirs a snake in my boots" murder, this book had me laughing out loud a few pages through, I love it, I like the island and I like living there for a while, I don't think I will ever tire of this book ever..
And Frank! God love him, what a psycho.... but he thinks eric is a psycho and he's hilarious... there are so many parts in this book I love but to post them would be to give too much away... (to be vague though, when he suspect his father and goes to check him out as it where.. the look of shock on my face really amused my ex while I was reading it, and franks big secret! had me talking to the book, like, No.... fuck moooo... nooo waaaay no fucking waaaaaaaaaay) I ***NEVER*** saw that coming
