The granddaddy of them all is Seven Cities of Gold. Anyone play that one on an Apple 2 or C64? I use to love that game (fun to search for cities and resources while your party wastes away from a lack of food) and was nostalgic about how good it was. Then, a couple years I downloaded it and played it on a C64 emulator. It was no longer impressive.
