Just heard that David Bowie has cancelled his headline slot at T-in-the park in Scotland. Please help those who are lucky enough to have tickets and bombard the organisers with requests to move the strokes to the Saturday night and move the Pixies up from second slot to headliners where they belong on the Sunday using this link. http://www.tinthepark.com/contact.html

I don't understand for the life of me why the Strokes are topping the Sunday bill in the first place. They'll be such an anti-climax after the Pixies.

Surely Bowie can perform....he's only hurt his arm. He could just stand there and sing...I'm genuinely gutted about missing out on that....

with the later part, yes i agree, i didn't think it'd affect him too much... but i guess if it's painful... i've heard the darkness might be replacing bowie.

And it's hard to be a human being, and it's harder as anything else, and I'm lonesome when you're around, and I'm never lonesome when I'm by myself, and I miss you when you're around.

Think I'll be avoiding the darkness like the plague. I genuinely don't understand that phenomena. I find spandex deeply unsettling.
The Libertines over the other side of the field will probably be worth a look though..
It does look like they need to balance out Saturday and Sunday though. Just compare the main stage billings for both the days...If they shifted Mull Historical Society and Stellastarr over to Saturday It'd remedy it for me...
