What do you think is the worst cover song of a Pixies song? To clarify, I'm not talking about covers performed by the Pixies, but rather Pixies' songs covered by other bands.
I personally think Reel Big Fish slaughtered "Gigantic". |

| Not me, I'm a big fan of RBF's "Gigantic"--I think it's fun. I also like their "Hungry Like a Wolf" a lot too. |

I know it's a joke, but there is another tribute album with covers by pro artist, I can't remember its name, that sucks a lot. It's the only record I have downloaded and not burned. And I have burned a Peter, Paul and Mary record.

RBF's gigantic is kinda weird, but I like that band a lot in general. RBF are skankin' goodness.
So Im headed for the stereo store, to buy a white noise maker, and turn it up to ten. |

I've heard the Belle & Sebastian cover, and it's absolutly funny.
A musical horror, looks like a saturday night karaoke.
Best Pixies cover ever, despite my personal trash shower version of River Euphrates.

One of the best is the Nada Surf version of Where Is My Mind, thats pretty ace. I'm just going to go ahead and assume the Papa Roach one is absolutely horrible, that one gets my vote.
How about 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'?

well my fav pixies cover is the sweedish (or some scandanavian language) cover of where is my mind.
some guy's handle is the proper title, and i think it's a fantastic cover.
as for worst cover, i think the japanese cover of gigantic with the perring kittens...annoys the fudge out of me.

Yep. 'Tis bosh. Nada Surf's version is better, although in all honesty I think that my band do a pretty good version of it. We cover Here Comes Your Man every now and again, too.
