Liquid metal, like that shape-shifting Terminator.
Okay, I'd better complete the group.

Have you had your 15 minutes of fame, and if not, how would you like to use them? (Sorry if this has already been asked.)

I liked Newo's question that didn't get answered, so I'll ask it again:

The smell of exhaust. I live by a busy highway in Fairfax, VA and there is too much traffic a lot of the time.
If you could live in any other time period in the history of Earth, which would you choose and why? |

I like this question very much, like to fantasize about living in other periods (taking the time machine). There is one period I can think of I would like to have been in Amsterdam. (I stay in my city)
1. The rich wealthy 17 th century here in Amsterdam.(The golden century) Amsterdam was at that moment one of the biggest and richests cities of Europe.I imagine the atmosphere must have been glorious, rich, beautiful canal houses, huge economic growth, think about painters such as Rembrandt and Flamish masters as well.
What is your favourite holiday country/state? and why?

Practicing with my band tonight, possibly doing some recording...catching up on some sleep...relaxing...eating...contemplating the utter shittiness of my love life at the moment
This is kind of a horrible question, but interesting nonetheless...if you were to lose either your sight or your hearing (you have to pick one), which would you choose and why?

It would be the obvious choice for a musician, but I'm not going to say I'd keep my hearing. Heck, I have imagination if I want to hear music, I couldn't manage without my sight, that'd be awful.

I think it at least grows in Thailand natively, and maybe all over Indonesia/East Asia? I had some in some great Thai soup a while ago -there was a woody stalk and I'm sure it wasn't meant to be eaten, but I just chewed and chewed on it, trying to place the flavor (I'm used to smaller bits of leaves). It was absolutely amazing! Kinda eucalyptus like with citrus, and something else undefineable - very yummy!
Oh, here you go Mikey. All you ever wated to know about where lemongrass grows, maybe? http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/med-aro/factsheets/LEMONGRASS.html
How often do you cook for yourself? Do you grow any of your ingredients? What is your favorite meal to prepare? (Yeah, I know I'm cheating, but you don't have to answer them all if ya don't wanna.) :) |

lately i'm all about grilling (charcoal weber).. i've grilled the past 4 or 5 weekends in a row for me and my spoiled girlfriend. pork tenderloin, halibut steaks, red snapper, burgers, salmon.. usually with corn on the cob and, lately, some asparagus or bok choi. or a salad.
it's all about the marinades though. my recent fave is this one that's got olive oil, lemon juice, cilantro, basil, shallots, hot pepper, lemon zest, .. some other stuff. it's sooooo goood.
i cook as much as i can but usually don't have time during the week .. i love cooking though. i'd love to go to chef school. not even to become a chef but to just become reallly fucking good (and, consequently, to get laid).
i don't grow any of my own food but my girlfriend is really into gardening. she just got a new place so i'm waiting to try some of her upcoming food. (she's an excellent cook by the way)
do you ever think you'll own your own house?

I dunno, but I've thought about trying them before. Never wanted to spend the money on 'em, so maybe I do think they are a bit over-the-top in the vanity meter. Would be very fun to have some scary ones though. Would make for a very good time at the grocery store.
I was going to say red or orange/rust as well. My favorite color is rusty amber orange.
hmmm, question...

Because they don't think anyone will even be watching it, so they don't put any effort into it.
What do you wish they showed on late-night TV?

Anime movies.
I like "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Sex and the City". Does it means I'm a woman?

(When I visited Cape Town the guy who's housing we were driving to told us a couple of particular junctions where we should roll up the windows and lock the doors and try not to stay stopped for too long, as there's been a lot of car-jackings there recently. This obviously put the place in a good light.)

Definitely, although I don't know that I "play" so much as just imagine stuff.
Have you ever had anything published? If so, what?

I've had a few album and live reviews published in a national music mag, which I'm kind of proud of. Then again, I'm easily pleased.
