McLusky, 'Chases'. Still amazes me how good this band are. One day they will influence other bands like the Pixies.

McLusky, 'Falco Vs The Young Canoeist'. Fucking amazing. This band should reform now and tour with Groop Dogdrill. Who should also reform.

Simon, why did Groop Dogdrill split up? And who is the guy and girl on the cover of 'Every Six Seconds'?

I've got no idea about the cover - It's not any of the band.
As for the split: Hug (the drummer) quit to spend more time with his family, which is reasonable enough. They got Alex something from Bolt Thrower in, but they never recorded as far as I know, and they just split up. Shame, I think the third album would have been tremendous.
Pete went to work at Careful Talk Costs Lives, but thats finished now; I don't know what any of them are doing. Stunning live band, its a real pity.

http://www.cmsaunders.free-online.co.uk/futureexwife/home/index.html

This, I'm pretty sure, is the new band of Pete Spiby, lead singer and guitarist in Groop Dogdrill: Future Ex-Wife. Nicole, you familiar?
They have a record called 'Let There Be Wife', which is cool.

Modest Mouse - 'Float On'
from a mix-exchange CD on another board.

Is it wrong to dislike a band purely to wind somebody up who really likes them?

Two Step - Throwing Muses
from a mix that I was sent in the post

Is it wrong to dislike a song even though you know the person who made the mix is going to probably nag on and on about it because they are the nagging type?
