Didn't find much on google but it seems there's a guy called Johnny Rebel who's part of the KKK and sings this song. I didn't understand how he got confused with Johnny Horton, though he might have used this name to get people to download his songs unintentionally.

(thanks for this denis. I downloaded it with a batch of other songs. it sounds pretty country and from a time gone by, just very strong on first listening. i'm new to his music so wasn't too sure if this was the right guy)

You're not even trying anymore to invent band names that sound real, Mike, come on... Who on Earth would call his band Asobi Seksu and play Police covers?

It's not a Police cover, and they are of Japanese origin.

I am now listening to Au Revoir Simone, 'The Backyards Of Our Neighbours'.

Simone? I mean, god, isn't that.......French? Horrors!

Sorry, Denis. Couldn't help myself.

Back on topic.

I don't choose the names of the band I listen to funnily enough. If I did, they wouldn't be called Pixies, they'd be called The Greatest Band Ever.

I am now listening to Ambulance Ltd, 'Stay Where You Are'.

Believe it or not, I checked "Au Revoir Simone" in Google and the band does exist. They're from NYC. And I have no idea what they sound like but they do have the lamest band name ever, sorry Mike. Au Revoir Simone? No shit! At least "En Voiture Simone" would've been better (French joke, don't ask).

Seriously, I wish I had time to find out new bands like I did before. I never have time to go to epitonic.com or any of these sites. Don't ever get married if you want to keep on listening to Au Revoir Simone, Mike.

They are not that good to be honest Denis. They are just one of many many bands that I find whilst tralling through the internet, and I like to check them all out.

Obviously, in light of this information, you can see that Simon is well off the mark. It's hard being the next John Peel though, you are always gonna get bitter people trying to stand in your way.

Oh and Denis. I would gladly give up Au Revoir Simone to be with my wife if she is as beautiful as yours.

I don't actually like New Order that much. I much prefered Joy Division. But I must admit, I was surprised by that new song. It's pretty darn good.
