Thanks, I certainly will.
Right now: Mr. Bungle, "Disco Volante" (which I just bought on a whim, undoudtedly under the influence of certain forum member's continuous lobbying). My first reaction was, "God this is weird", but I'm really starting to get into it.

Which forum member pressured you, jediroller?
I've only heard their live version of 24 mila baci (one of my all-time favorite songs). How's Disco Volante?
(Right now listening to my daughter throw a fit)

Hey, I'm not accusing anybody, just saying I've read things... I figure that if 2 or 3 different FB fans say they love Mike Patton's music, it must be worth checking out. And I've been up to the eyeballs in folkies lately, it was time for a change of mood.
As far as I can tell, Disco Volante is: dense, messy, sometimes incredibly nerve-racking, sometimes eerie, often exciting. I'll probably have a lot of time for this over the weekend.

Thank you for that, Jediroller. I hope you consult a doctor for your eyeballs. Folkies can't be a good thing.

My eyes are actually in poor shape, but that's more likely the result of too much time in front of a computer (surprise...), not of over-exposure to the sounds of Laura Veirs, Devendra Banhart or Espers.
And I'm listening to nothing right now, how is that possible?!

Hey, while you're here, there's something I need to know. Does this guy have cred? I only have 2 of his albums (Yesterday's Wine and Red Headed Stranger) and they're both amazing. But I supposed he's surely done a lot of crap during his career. And he played in the Dukes Of Hazzard movie. How do you see him over there?

He's got boatloads of cred. He's seen as an icon who smokes tons of dope. (But I still can't stand country music.)
