Have any of you guys heard the acoustic version of "pure denizen" the one where he says "wow this guy can really play ,just like jimmy page"?,it is so class i can barely describe it.I found it on Soulseek with an acoustic version of pong and they are incredible, do these come from like a acoustic version of teenager or was it just a radio session, is there any more cuts from this session? Any info would be appreciated. |

Don't really know where it's recorded, but these songs are played (though I'm not really sure if the session I have is complete):
Men in black The man who was too loud Jaques Tati Pure denizen if thge citizens band
If you like that, you might be interested in the following: I'm not really sure about this, but I think it's called: Inter France Accoustic session, Here's the setlist:

An easier way to find this is to get it from the frankblack.net ftp site...
it's called: 1994-06-10 - Fun Radio Fm Radio Session (acoustic)
The other session is also available at the ftp: 1996-01-10 - Interfm Radio Session

Thanks Chickenwithtwoheads, excellent stuff, the pong acoustic must have been some other session. I had dreams of an entire playing of teenager acoustically. This is cool enough, love the men in black version. |

I love hearing Frank Black play solo acoustic stuff...he can seriously hold his own, he's an excellent performer. He can make these complex rockin songs like Pong and At The End Of The World sound equally amazing on acoustic.
