This would seem to be a good place for self-centered twits to spew out their nonsense. I am probably the most self-centered twit ever born. We are all born that way. Single-minded little bundles of pure want. Some people get stuck in childhood, or adolescence maybe, at least according to the psychologists. (Who are not scientists, by the way. How that dreck gets passed off as serious inquiry is a mystery to me.) Some get stuck in infancy. Some of us never get out of the womb. Which brings me to my first observation about the misery of the human condition. (Don't worry, it might be my last. I am making this up as I go.) Heaven is the womb. It's warm, there are no bright lights, sounds are soft and muffled, and there aren't any electricity bills. The stillborn are the chosen ones. But that's just a phrase. Trust me, I don't think there's anybody out there choosing them. They're just lucky bastards. They get the good part and don't have to go through the agonizing steady decline before final sweet oblivion. |

I'm pretty convinced I'm stuck somewhere in childhood or adolescence. I often forget that I'm 21 and not 18.

I'm not stuck anywhere. I'm always moving further. Time is on my side. Ten years before I shall rule the world!
I keep feeling like people are just looking at screens and web sites all the time, but do they ever do anything? Or go out and say anything to anyone? I'm not so sure anymore. |

Yeah right.
One day Elsie woke up and decided this was the day everything would change. Not that she would do anything all that different that day, but she would start a transformation, slowly, that would eventually change her destiny. Something just clicked on inside her. For most people this is called a mid-life crisis, and it passes. Ironically, it could be called a mid-life crisis for Elsie, too, because she was in fact just about at the middle of her life. But it was different for Elsie for two reasons. She was actually going to do something about it, and it happened to her at a much younger age than most people. Elsie was 6. (Insert 50,000 words here.) |

Is it a load of Blockbuster horseshit? When I heard about it ages ago it sounded pretty cool. Then you realise Steven 'The Mummy' Sommers made it. Ugh. I'm looking forward to Hellboy(not out here till Sep., boo!-out on Reg.1 DVD soon, though), although I've heard some baaaadd things about it. Lets not mention The Day After Tomm...whoops! |

Mindless pulp, wasn't too bad though. I won't be buying the DVD or anything.

You're joshing me! I liked the Mummy, it reminded me of Indy. And I know some of you'll get on your high horse and say, its not even in the same leageu, but shut up. I'm right. Its fun.

Automatic 3 stars minimum for anything with Rachel Weisz. Too bad that's about all The Mummy is worth, though. |

What's the scientific word for randomness?
1. I am a fsh with no i's. 2. You must be wearing Zubaz, 'cause you're daring to be different. 3. I am a man with 3 fingers...but that doesn't count my index finger nor my thumb. |
