After Lancelot (i.e. The First Knight) they're playing, on the same channel (Paris Première), The King of New York. And I have to write a paper for tomorrow, about the Palo Alto explanation of the negotiation techniques.
I believe this is a conspiracy against me, aimed at making me fail my exams and become a professional fb.net forum member.
I've already seen TKONY, but it's such a good film! Walken is my favorite actor!

Does the Palo Alto explanation involve game theory at all? Game Theory is a recent interest of mine. Perhaps you could do the ol' reliable "compare and contrast" paper.
On the flip side, TKONY is a very good film with many many top-shelf actors (Walken, Fishburn, Buscemi, Caruso, Snipes, Esposito). However, you can watch that on DVD a hundred times after you've graduated.
So get to work!

Interested in Game Theory? There's some very nice stuff about it on the MIT open course we site. I loooove the Game theory!

Adnan, does that explain why your blog says you like George Michael?

Aha, talk about an Abel Ferrara movie. King Of New York was very good, Walken great. My favourite Abel Ferrara film is Bad Lieutenant. Harvey Keitel is one of my favorite actors and in Bad Lieutenant he is tremendously fucked up. It is a tough film to watch but I'd recommend anyone to see it. The only other Ferrara film I've seen was Addiction, it's about vampires Adnan. You'd be frightened, it is about a clever philosphy student who is also a vampire. Anyone seen The Funeral? I'v heard it's good but impossible to get over here.

Well, I do like George Michael very much. It's something you can't explain, I guess. I don't own any records, though, but songs like Last Christmas, Faith, Freedom, etc are really great. And I always wonder what happened to the other guy from Wham!

Of course I've seen the Addiction. Abel Ferrara is one of my favorite directors.

Adnan, I was only ribbing ya. I just visited your blog and saw your interesting list of top ten albums, and I was reminded of something from my childhood. There is this show called "Sesame Street", you may have seen a French version of it? and when I was little, 4 or so, they had a segment of the show where they had 4 things on the screen, like three kids bouncing basketballs, and one kid digging graves, and the song "One of these kids is not like the others, come on can you tell which one....one of these kids is doing his own thing, guess before this song is DONE, before the song is DONE!"
No offense was meant. I hope none was taken.
I like Walken very much too.

I did not feel offended at all, but now I'm offended by the fact that you might have thought that I may have been offended.
I don't know anything about Sesame Street.
The TV show I remember watching as child was Diff'rent Strokes. I liked it a lot, and I was really sad about what happened to Dana Plato.
The funny thing is, I used to watch it in English, not in French, as my childhood has been shared between France and what used to be Yougoslavia, and at that time I spoke English much better than now. So it is really a special memory.

OK, then I take it all back, except for the mental image of that nutty song and 3 kids playing ball while one digs graves. It tickles me, so I have rewritten my personal childhood to include it as fact.

Btw, these are not my top ten albums, but the top ten albums I listen to when I'm cleaning or doing some kind of housework. That explains "Brighten the corners" and "Washing machine", as well as Rammstein and Wagner (better than Bob Marley for this particular job).

Isn't it a little morbid for children to watch another child digging graves? Are you sure it was a grave he was digging? Perhaps he was looking for the motherload...

or the mother lode? I made it up, so I guess it could be both, or something else entirely. It's the car trunk "Repo Man", or the briefcase in "Pulp Fiction" if you like.

You made it up? Now, or when you were 4 years old?

Andrew Ridgley became a racing driver!!!
And Walken is sheer class!!! Why the hell did he have to do that movie recently with that wrestler? I forget what it's called but it's set in the jungle and also stars 'Stiffler' from American Pie (I think his name is Sean William Scott). I can't even imagine he got that much money for it. Surely he has an abumdance of scripts coming through his door.
