Ooooooh! Did you say "ultimate frisbee"? I know it's pretty popular in the USA, but in France nobody has ever heard of this sport. I was in a team at the Uni and we did the French Championship after only 3 months of practicing, cause there are less than 20 teams in all the country. That was great. We got drunk all night, puked on the playground the next day and didn't score a single point. Ah, the old days...

Old Spice High Endurance spray deodorant man here. I used anti-perspirant stick for many years, then realized my armpits always got chapped in the winter. Plus, white chunks would always fall off of my armpits, and would get all over the place, then I looked like I had dandruff. So, I switched to spray, and no more chap or "dandruff". It doesn't get all globby under there either, like all deodorant sticks will make you.

Eww... spray?
I generally use Gillette series stuff... Wild Rain being my favourite. I had to grab a quick stick at the local drugstore since I was rushing home and they didn't have that, so I grabbed Mitchum something. Smelled not bad, but it's gel, and the only thing worse than gel is spray (though it feels pretty dry especially for a gel, so who knows now).
That's more detail than should ever be given out, but what the hell...

What do you have against spray? I use spray. I use Jean-Paul Gaultier "Le Male". I have it both in spray and stick and I never use the stick. What's "anti-perspirant", by the way? I'm French and thus my hygiene vocabulary is quite poor.

Damn, it's your special talent.
i don't think it's a special talent. i just think the people of this forum can recognize a stimulating discussion when they see one. deodorant usage being one of those. |

In France, we don't take showers, that is why deodorant is so useful.
Haha, I didn't know that. But note that I live in Alsace, whose motto is 'Cleanness, Hygiene and Order'...

I never have to decorate and deodorize my body to a presentable level cuz I never leave the apartment. the only person that sees me is me when I look in the mirror. Course, I can barely see through all the grime and lime on the mirror.

Hey Stuart, what do you teach in China? How're people dealing with the SARS thing?
That spitting thing is disgusting. I never thought I'd be the person with the most class but it's sounding like I might be.

I don't know what sprays you've used, but if you get the anti-perspirant spray, it's pretty dry. To me the gel is the worst...you have this gooey mess under your pits. Although, part of that problem for me would be that I'm paranoid, and I load the deodorant on, so I have more on than I reasonably should.

I use stick. Not Speed Stick, though. I used that back when I was a kid, and I got some kind of rash or something.
I've reached 1000 posts / So I'm too cool to be in a cult. |

Well Real I majored in secx therapy, usingf the English language.... so thats whaty I teach, SARS.... yeahs its back but I don't know much about it. 5 peopel have caught it or died in the last week, but thats nothing compared to the amount of people in VBeijing (15 million I think).... As long as the gov here don't fucjk it up like last time then there will be no panic.... the major problem with SRAS last time wa s the panic after it was covered up for so long.... if you ate ypung, and healthy then ti will not be aproblem. SRAS only really kills peoiple oif you are very oldand weak, or if you have a serious illness and ate very weak as a result... or so I am told. Don't worry about SARS, it's not a concern!~
Man, I'll write more tomorrow as I have a brain / finger malfucntion.

From the look of that last post Stu, you yourself are old and weak. That's some of the worst spelling I have ever witnessed!!!
You'd better look out for that SARS then eh?

I was trying to figure out what the hell "ypung" is; thought maybe it was some sort of weird Chinese food or something. Thanks for responding though, hehe.

Ypung.... is young. I was off my face last night after a kamakazi drinking session as a result of the wedding. People here do not take no for an answer on the drinking front.
I'm more worried about being drafted to Iraq than SARS (which would never happen as I am too old and there would never be a fucking chance that I'd return to the UK to sign up for that nazi cunt Blair).... personally I think SARS is 99% panic, I have never known anyone who has ever caught the disease and have never feared catching it myself... Oh tell a lie.... last year during the middle of the SARS hysteria the wife started giving me chinese medicine to drink twice a day to boost my immune system. Two days later I woke up with chills, weakness and the horrendous shits. I then got a little concerned, however these were symptoms of poisoning as I was not taking the medicine correctly.
You always hear that someone knows a friend whose brother has got it and died, but thats all bullshit.... just like when Robbie Fowler was alleged to be a coke addict and everyone was saying that they had a friend who had a brother who worked at Anfield, who confirmed the tale as true.
Real, don't worry about it too much, Hebei I'm sure didn't have many cases last year.... certainly don't let it affect your decision to come over here. Last year my mates were supposed to come for a week at the beginning of May, but they didn't.... that was a mistake as when this place was like a ghost town it was great... you could get a taxi anywhere, it wasn't crowded etc etc.

i use like an odourless anti-perspirant roll-on because my dad works at a chemist and just buys the stuff in bulk. it's good, because then after applying that i can chose from a selection of deoderant sprays. |
