Aside from beer, I'd go for Jack and coke, or maybe G&T as summers coming. mmmmmmmmmmmm.

any wine made by "blossom hill" is usually my favourite ! though i'm partial to a Virgin Wine order every so often !
Got a nice big bottle of JD from my jaunt in Prague !

But i just love the taste of it, and its the one beer that for some reason gets me pissed farily fast. And a really silly pissed, like dancing round lamp posts on tables giggly type drunk.

| New Glarus Spotted Cow and Fat Squirrel are my favorite by them I think. And I forgot about Sprecher's brews. Those are all pretty great, too. Newcastle and Beck's are also some favorite imports. Think I'm gonna try Grolsch for the first time pretty soon here. |

| Ramona, Blind Faith is pretty gross. But as luck would have it MH ships through Maryland so I live close enought to get the year rounds and the the seasonals every once in a while. So there will be no need to ship. |

You will be disappointed to hear that I drink lots of G&T now that I am officially old. My alcolol chronology is as follows:
pre 18 - cider, pernod and black, lager and lime
university years - guiness, ruddles county, stella artois, aussie wine
post uni/pre children years - pretty much the same as uni years + phasing in of red wine
children years onwards - G&T, red wine, occasional bottled beer

To be fair, a G&T is a rare treat... I can see you drinking Ruddles though, with a red nose and a big old belly...

I don't mind the odd glass of vino, I can even tell the difference between a £2.99 bottle and a £4.49 one. Not bad for a complete pleb.
I don't think you're doing too badly Richard... Its when you start drinking sherry or creme de menthe that you have to worry!
BTW, you coming to any of the meets? If you want, we can promise your wife personally that you're not heading out to see some brazen hussy you have on the side... Even if Mel will be there.

Here's my chronology of drinking habits:
14-17: Anything that gets one intoxicated
18-21: Miller Lite
Somewhere in year 21: Imports and microbrews
Somewhere in year 22: Cognac (vsop and xo)
After that: discovered that I don't have money for a habit like that
22-23: Too much Southern Comfort. Way too much.
23-present: Heineken, Guinness, occasionally other imports and micros
Future: Expensive Cognac and Vodka. And Gin.

I have struck a deal with Scarla O to meet him before the Pixies gig at Brixton on Sat 5th June (he's holding a ticket for me)so I will be in ole Landan town that evening. Slight complication though as it happens to be my wife's birthday that day (oops!) and we are travelling back from our holiday in Northumberland also earlier in the day (double oops!). Northumberland is about 8,000 miles from London so I am not sure what time I can get down to the Smoke. I am considering staying over in London that night but nothing definate. What are the plans then?

You'd be best off emailing Mel Gypsy for exact plans, but the current idea I think is to meet up on the Saturday, so you may be good. However, you would need to leave Northumberland at about 3am the day before, and suffer a beating from Mrs Woolley...
Do you not have one of those motorised granny-scooters? Could you not soup that up?
I like Northumberland, what part are you going to? I would say I'm jealous, but i'm going to South Africa, so I'm not.
