Well, Mayslack's at 6:00 then we like totally play softball in Nordeast Mpls, and then we usually catch a greenie or seven at Jaro's, and it's usually like up in the air from there. It should be rad.

I have a new suspect. Cal just posted on the Mpls Nov 11 thread that he got his "tickets printed" email from ticketmaster. Funny thing is, I just got mine too. Maybe I've been Cal all along (or he's been me). And if we're each other, that would mean one (both) of us could easily be the Realist (Passion) too. Cal, is your roommate a geeky guy with a bald head who goes by 'Chislic'? Something's fishy here...

Hmmm...softball, eh? I haven't done that for a couple years. Do you need a player to come of the bench? I hit to all fields, can go from 1st to 2nd from a dead stop in 4 seconds flat, and I'm sure-handed.

I agree with your observation...the last two pages of this thread has been 90% us, and it's getting echoey in this thread. We do need someone to step in with a compliment, to validate our time spent on this thread.
But then I think to myself, what would I be doing if I weren't spending so much time on this thread? Working? Then I validate myself by my thought.

I don't think that ShaunWestphal, Chislic, The Passion of El Diablo, and The Realist are from Minneapolis at all. They give fishy answers regarding the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Well, it's kinda like I get the impression you guys pull up Google and type in "Minneapolis clubs" and you get your answers. It just makes me curious...kind of like when you said the bowling place was in "Eden Prairie" when I would have obviously known it was in Eden Prairie. Hmmm....something fishy indeed. There were also other cases of name-dropping Minneapolis destinations by Passion way back in the Minneapolis Fine Line thread that just make me curious. What do you think ShaunWestphal?
BTW, I'm glad we were able to get on with our lives, and not let the "rib tips" and your uncoordination in bowling thing linger in the way of moving forward.

Chislic could live in the apartments above the Minneapolis Eagle Club.
The Realist-I don't think the realist exists autonomously. she shares a bed in Passions mind.

How would you have "obviously known it was in Eden Prairie?" I'm confused. Is that the only bowling alley in the metro area?
I will admit that I make a lot of jokes about Drink (the club, not my favorite weekend pastime), but I think the name itself makes it an easy target for us 'intellectuals' to make fun of.

I worked at the Uptown Famous Dave's for 2 years and i can tell you honestly...DON'T THE RIBTIPS. First of all, they are called "ribtips till payday". This is a Famous Dave's inside joke because you eat ribtips until payday when you eat real ribs. I could tell you horror stories but I will leave that up to Passion when she decides to discuss her relationships with men.
By the way...do you know why they don't celebrate christmas in Coon Rapids? |
