How about we plan on this...
Let's all meet a couple of hours before the show at McGovern's Irish Pub. Things to bring with you include your tickets (of course), money, sense of humor (party poopers get stomped), and boobs er....thirst. As the show gets closer, we can make more specific plans.
As Daisy and I have become friends, I am sure she wouldn't mind helping me organize this (nudge nudge Daisy). We can start some sort of carpool list on this thread to facilitate a better sense of co-ordination amongst the fans going to the 11/11 show. any other ideas? |

Somar and Solace... I have been meaning to check out the Martini's LP...thanks for the reminder.. I have been slacking.
Josh... I told you not to talk about my boyrfriend on the forum...I don't want my husband to find out. He's also pretty sensitive about that arm thing too. But that's ok...what happens in this forum stays in this forum.

I have listened to the new Martini's CD once so far, on first listen I thought it was pretty good..I like Linda's voice. I'll give it a few more listens before I comment on the overall style of music..right now I am having trouble getting Robot Parade from Alex's They Might Be Giants out of my head...that's what happens when your 4 year old has control of music choices...at least it's better than the typical kid's CD...or finding you humming something like Baby Beluga.

Somar...that is so funny you mentioned Baby Beluga...Raffi is from Canada, where I was born and my nursery school played it. Don't know if you caught the spoof on The Simpsons last week...I think they called him Roofy and then they had a babypalooza. it was so funny.

| I have not decided if I am going to attend the 11/10 show or not? I would love to hear input concerning the pros and cons of attending. This will be a fair and democratic process. If i receive more cons than pros..I will not go. The same is true visa versa. Speak up people! |

Pros: you will probabaly hear more songs, like double mint it will double your pleasure double your fun, you will get to hang out with all your cool FB friends before the show twice, if the Pixies break up after this tour, at least you can tell your grand kids you saw them twice instead of just once.
Con: You will only see them twice. |

I have 2 Minneapolis Tickets (Roy Wilkins Theatre) available for November the 11th. I can't make it to this show as previously hoped, so I have to part with these tickets.. They are in section 210, row N/Balcony- not the best, but from the inside of the arena from the pictures provided in this topic, the view doesnt' look too bad from anywhere. I went... from 10 to 1am... and liked it a lot! A friend sang La Bamba in spanish, cool people, acceptable music... but u, forum freaks weren't there... well, u were there but u don't at the same time... complicated...
