Haha. I had one.

It was so lame... having to make "Krispy Kreme pages" to the store every 30 minutes. We did it about 5 times then we just stopped.

(for anyone out of me and Jim's loop, we both work at Best Buy, and BB stores had Krispy Kreme donuts today. Now you guys can join in the conversation! Ask us what flavor there was!)

Krispy Kreme PAGES? That's messed up man; we didn't go that far...I had 3 before the morning meeting...god, those things are like crack. I just got promoted to full time but I'm leaving to go back home in a fuckin month! Sucks! Hopefully I'll transfer to a store in MI when I get back from England...I worked like, 13 hours today. Most of that was overtime. Kick ass.

PC, that is funny about the NFL draft thing. That would be really scary, I'm sure. "With the first pick in the first round of the 2004 U.S. Armed Forces draft, Uncle Sam selects every competent male aged 18-24 from Madison, WI." AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! Hope I don't have dreams about this.

I've only recently experienced the Krispy Kremes and I have to say, after so much hype, they weren't that impressive. The Jelly was great but everything else is, meh. I do like the little free hats though.

Krispy Kreme donuts are so good. I love the original glazed either freshly made or heated in the microwave for 15 seconds. But the raspberry jelly filled and the chocolate creme filled are to die for.

Krispy Kreme don't have enough variety and are too sweet, too small, and overpriced. Somehow they brainwash people into thinking otherwise.

The only kind of Krispy Kreme that I really enjoy is the cinnamon kind. No jelly or creme crap in the middle, no chocolate icing, or sprinkles on top.

I do think there is some KK conspiracy going on. How can people go that nuts over a donut?

I don't know if this has been said previously (or is in one of the linked articles), but one argument for the draft is that if more people had to pay the costs of war (either by being drafted or having their kids or family members being drafted) then fewer people would support the country going to war (or better reasons for war would be needed). In order for this to work, the draft has to be for everyone (of the appropriate age). So, no school deferments, no daddy connections into the National Guard or whatever.

I think Charles Hagel (one of the few Republicans I respect) has floated the idea of reinstating the draft and partially for the reason above. Here's link on Hagel:

Praise be to Allah!
I'll be thirty seven in June, (although everyone thinks I'm twenty five. This is due in part to my stylish clothing which is inspired by my life long desire to be in a boy band)

It's true, with one eye I'm just watching father time pass me by. With the other I'm watching SpongeBob.
I went to a bar the other night and the guy at the door looked at my license and was like 67!!? Cut the shit! He did this two weeks ago too. He said he was born in 62. He looked twenty years older than me. This other dude was looking at me in amazment saying "no way!" Then he starts counting on his fingers and looking at me funny. Everyone thinks I'm 24- 27 it's great! All my friends are 21 - 28 as well (including the ladies).
Plus, I don't feel so bad about partaking in my favorite past times... Eating Chef Boyardee while watching Saturday morning cartoons, and Coloring.

That's when I get serious. Plus it's just like a video game, and I'm really good at them.

Makes me wonder if Rumsfeld is posturing for the election.

Me too, although I have read several times that he is and has been opposed to the draft for quite some time.

I don't buy it (Rumsfeld against a draft). Wasn't he behind them re-instating the Selective Service boards not very long ago?

If Bush stays in power, and when I say this, I fully expect anything to happen to keep them in, there will be a draft, especially in light of a terrorist attack that suspends the Constitution.

The military is very over-stretched at the moment, so even that there are articles about this when a few years ago there are appearing with alot more frequency. If the Neo-Cons stay in power, expect more wars, and indeed a draft.
