I don't know if anyone else has encountered this but I have received two messages today, alerting me that someone wanted to add me to their msn list. They were the same username but different email address. I had no idea who they were 'cos their username didn't give anything away to me, but I added them anyway. However, when I began to enquire as to who they were, they wouldn't tell me, started playing games, which I just don't have the patience for. I just thought it quite rude and childish to not let me know who they were. They eventually told me they were called Angela but it wasn't any Angela I knew. They wouldn't tell me anymore. Then they got pissed off and signed out in a huff. How could they expect me to chat to them without knowing? Is it just me or is that weird!
So yeah, has anyone else here ever encountered this? I am wondering if it is someone from here.

Best to not chat with ppl you don't know. Especially with a Windows product like MSN. If they are legit, they will find another way to contact you -otherwise, there are exploits in chat clients that "Angela" or anyone else might be trying to use. My younger siblings have managed to acquire all sorts of lovely worms and spyware that way.

Ahh the Commadore 64, my first computer. I remember sitting at the command prompt and rapidly typing gibberish, pretending to be one of those super computer hacker/nerds that I saw on TV and in the movies...hey, look where I am today! Two games I remember vividly are Bazzare (Bizzare?) and Alice in Wonderland (an adventure game...that's where I learned what the fuck "coax" meant).

I missed the whole c64 thing, started down the road to geekdom with some Intellivision then Atari and finally a brand spanking new blisteringly fast Tandy 3000 286 with up to 12 MHz turbo. Blew my cousin's 2 MHz 8086 out of the water, especially since he didn't have a hard drive. Well, he did, but it was just big enough to store the OS. Though his had a three voice internal speaker and I had to eventually buy an Adlib soundcard just to outdo him. I'm not sure what the point of this story was...

I bet none of you had an Einstein though. No one remembers einsteins. I had amazing times with that machine, gronks, baker, frogger (Ah Frogger) and I had a pile of text adventure games too, like the original typed zork and hitchhikers guide to the galaxy

Not that it matters to anyone , but I've changed my AIM sn (my MSN sn is still the same).
Bumble, I had a BLT a couple of weeks ago. I don't know what it was, but it just didn't taste the same as I remembered it should. Maybe I didn't use enough B, and had way too much L?

Hey, my first computer was a Commodore 64. The best computer ever. I thought I would do like that guy from Superman 3 and steal a lot of money from a banking network. But playing Conan the Barbarian was much more fun.
I tried to add some of the people from the forum on my msn list, and I got refused a couple of times - my msn account is soros_on_acid, so I guess they didn't recognize me...right? |
