They're made of cotton. Just like cotton shirt. There is NO difference in texture..??
Enough with the anti-organic attitude. The price is reasonable, and they're the same otherwise (well, not as great a color selection.)

Done! I finally read the whole 5 pages. Don't have much to add to the conversation. I don't like blue t-shirts, I'd prefer a white or a black one. In fact I don't think I'd buy a blue T. Apart from that, I have no opinion about texture, and I love Damien's designs.

I'm cool with that blue. It might look a bit better than just white, though I do like white as well.

also, they did not seem to be any girls shitrs available from that site, so i looked at the links, and there is a connected site, and i found quite a good t.shirt there -

i really like the blue that the - = frank black forum = - is in at the top right of this screen...
blue and grey would be cool ot keep in theme with the forum - i think it should really have some sort of inkeeping with fb.net

I'm not sure we should do too many t's. For example, with the Friends Club, we've just barely hit 200 paid members...and that's after four months, and it's just a measley $5 (and you get entered into 12 draws!!)

If that's the case, fine, Jim, but I'd really like to see where your "most people" posts are. I can recall one person not wanting that on there, plus, of course, you. And therefore probably Mel.
I really don't care if people don't want it, I just am a little concerned that you seem to be pushing some sort of secret agenda, namely your own. I suggested the Cult of Frank thing because I think the cults are sort of a running gag here and asked for people to comment if they thought it sounded too much like it was about me as opposed to a play on words "Cult of Ray -> Cult of Frank".
So, if you want things out in the open, then by all means, be open about it as opposed to trying to suggest that you represent the majority. Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, I love the new sig.

For the record, I think that maybe some people probably have some bad associations to the 'cult' thing, even tongue in cheek, and am happy to use something else. And I thought of two other people who didn't care for the cult thing... just to show I really don't care.
Maybe we should have something else, maybe some people are afraid they'd offend me saying they don't like it, or Jim saying they do? That's not a cool place for you guys to be put in.

I think that was slightly out of line, and totally uncalled for. If you look back, as you said in the second post, quite a few more people had mentioned they are not keen on the cult of frank thing.
Why take it so personally? I dont want that on the tshirts, purely because i dont like it, some others may dislike it because of it refereance to your handle name, but why jump off the handle like that?
I also dislike the constant way you refer to me and jim. Yeah sure, it is public knowledge that theres stuff going on between us, but NO we are NOT the same people, adn do not just follow eachother around like lap dogs. Dumping us in the same boat all the time just makes you look very bitter. Sure alot of the time we may have the same opinion - well, er, we wouldnt be in the situation we are if we disagreed on everything, would we?

yeah, maybe drawing up a load of the final designs and colours, and having an actual vote with in the next two weeks?

Jeez, touchy touchy Dean. Fine, let's keep the Cult of Frank in there. I think we should also put a big "MADE BY DEAN" logo in the corner so you can stake your claim on the shirt, if that's what you're really looking for.
I wouldn't have a problem with the line if it weren't the same as your handle. I know you'd get a nice ego boost out of having your handle on a shirt (and don't try and lie and say you wouldn't, because that's just not at all true.) The fact that you seem to be taking this so personally just proves it to me, at least.
If you want to go and do a petty count, I'll go through and list those specifically opposed to your "Join the Cult of Frank" line and those who are explicitly for it. Then we'll compare numbers.

To be fair, Nimrod seemed to like the idea in the first few posts before the designs actually began to roll, and pixiesseixip said "and then "frankblack.net", "join the cult", "kick me in my taco" or whatever y'all decide on the back (like the posted blue design, just without the "my name is")".
