Yeah, ok, maybe not using the 'home of the dancing bear one'? I dont know, i dont think that would be as effective as just the simpler designs? I dont know,what do you guys think??

wow! some cool ideas folating around. i know my opinion dont count as strong but so up for suppoting the cause and promoting this site however, with a badge, a t, whatever. name a price and i'll pay. hopefully something can be done before the brixton gig (selfish me!). i'll be the one in the green jacket with the pixies P on the back, but a t with any logo of fb.net would be amazin. our own little, ever increasing cult.
love the bear and the rest but something with the fb.net more visual and anything of frank would be so cool. just want you guys to recognise the fb.net faithful and worshippers.

k - we're looking good to go with the COF Tshirts and the current button/m designs!
For the size, 1" is good, i don't much like big button/m/s. =P
I like the new design Mr Duck. Very nice. Can we get 'FrankBlack.net' on the Cat-head idea? I think we're good to go for the most part with the buttons, can you post all four 'close-to-final' designs?
A question i need to answer is 'how many' - i was thinking an initial run of 200 button/m/s, 50 of each design....thoughts?

for the brixton faithful and to you gysydeath, i'm at the friday gig. tried to get tickets for the first 2 but the internet on the saturday mornin they released them was not very nice to me. too many ebayers seeking profit. ch-ching.
does anyone know if the fb.net merchandise can be done in the uk for easier and quicker delivery or are the goods coming from the US. |

I think the 50 of each is the best idea. At least initially, Then we can get an idea of how in demand they are gonna be.

I really dig this idea and the fact that you guys are actually going through with it. I LOVE the blue on that shirt...if the shirt is actually that color, I'd wear it all the time. My only complaint is that the back of the T-Shirt's logo is a little too high...anyone else thing it should be slightly lower?

I really like the dancing bear with fb.net or with the bigger text. We're not going to keep those cats much longer anyway (remember?), so why would we want them on our pins?
The dancing bear just fits with the font of FB.net. And it looks great. And it references the fact that Frank himself pops by.
1" is good though.

A reverse-negative of the 'plain' FB.net one could be good, with white/grey text on a black bg...

Yeah, Its so great that the whole idea about this is that its decided by all the members - a real FB.net thing. Not just some merchandise decided by some guys somewhere. Its by all of us, and were all involved. If it was any other way, it wouldnt be the same at all.

Guys, I've been doing alot of thinking in the last 10 minutes...
and I think we really need to reach out to people with these shirts and badges. People NEED to know where the best source for Frank Black news is, they need to know where they can meet other fans, and where to get FB pictures, and they need to know where Frank Black tabs can be found.

Yeah, I'm diggin the designs from Active Duck. I think we should get a few more ideas, then have a poll to see which one we all like most (since, you know, we'll be the ones wearing them), then have em printed up. That's really the best way to do it. Democracy, right?
I dig the blue shirt, with the infinite heads, with frankblack.net on it...no "Join the Cult of Frank" unless Dean changes his forum handle, cause that's too...I dunno.

Cotton is probably the most pesticide-intensive crops on the planet. If i'm gonna be promoting something, it's gonna have to have some environment standards. And the cost different will be relatively minimal, not likely to be more than $5/shirt.

SO we having two colours? I think having them in the blue and the white is a good idea.
Badge wise - so say we have four designs, im thinking along the lines of the silhoutte bear, the plain fb.net, the dancing bear free zone one, and the blue badge...
the frank one looks a bit odd, and had we decided no kitties?

It sucks, but we don't have nearly as many women as men. I wish they made men's shirts more stylish..gaah. I generally get smaller t's so my build gives me a little bit of distinction...heh..
