When I saw the topic "Who Loves Pie?" I immediately thought of my dad. He is pie obsessed and his friends call him the Pie Man.
I personally am a SALT person rather than a SWEET one, but I like berry pies as opposed to apple or pumpkin. And I feel violent about cherry.

my favourite is mince and cheese.
though steak, bacon and cheese is also very very nice.

right outside of honesdale pennsylvania is a german restaurant/butcher called the alpine that makes the best homemade style apple pie on the planet
the thing has got to weigh 6 pounds, every time we drive past there i have to buy one for my family
it always gets finished the same day it is bought
if your timing is right it will still be warm when you buy it

I could just make something up that sounds good...
roasted almond sauce, with whipped topping, drizzled in cinnamon fluff, baked in a cherry glaze, with raspberry frosting, sitting on a homemade cinnamon and raisin biscuit...mmmmmm! I should be a chef.

Who is that?!?! ^ that guy in the pic with the head phones!! He looks like he likes fudge, not pies!! Fudge is bad for your health, where as pies lower cholesterol and feeds your head, your mind, and your brain with the vital nutrients to survive a swarm of ravage bears under a full moon sky.

It's kind of pie-like, since it has a crust. Some places offer "cheesecake pie," so I guess it kind of walks the line between the two.
And what about pizza pie? Does that count?
