Last night i had a dream that i went to see the Pixies and they were really shit, however thats not the important part.
I found myself sittinmg next to Angelina Jolie and we were so bored with the show that we stared getting it on, in front of everyone!
Now i'm not actually a lesbian so i'm wondering what this dream means, (apart from i have great taste in women). Not that i've got anything against lesbians, i've just never tried, although having said that if Angelia Jolie was offering herself it would be rude not to right?
Have any of you guys ever had gay dreams? Maybe men are less likely to, as on the whole they seem to be less open than women to homosexuality.
Anyway do you lot have any thoughts on the subject? Any dream experts out there? |

Angelina Jolie is on the cover of the new Vogue which I just got. I told my best friend "she's beee-oooo-tiful! I would make out with her". But I digress...
I think if any straight men had "gay dreams" they would probably not admit it, unless they were very comfortable with themselves.

Hmm...I've had a gay dream before, too. Really freaked me out seeing as the person in my dream was my best friend at the time. I always have nightmares about being raped, though I doubt that's what you'd call a "gay dream"...Jeeze, I hate those (it's recurring). Who knows, maybe I am, or at one point in time was gay...seeing as everyone seemed to find it so obvious and loved letting me know...heh.

I wouldn't read too much into your dream Gracie, it probably means nothing or something completely removed from sexuality altogether.
I mean you try explaining my dream where I keep going on this internet website for some shitty band fronted by some shitty songwriter who was in some other shitty band years ago (who are, in my latest dreams, getting back together). I keep posting stupid messages about angry strawberries to people I don't even like, people I actually want to murder in real life. Boy am I glad I wake up from that dream each morning so that I can go about my business of killing those freaks!!! I wanna be the first serial killer who chooses his victims over the internet.
Hmmm that joke could get me into a lot of trouble if you guys are actually killed by a serial killer now couldn't it? I mean I have basically given someone an opportunity to kill you all and get away with it.

| For those of you males who have actually had gay dreams, did you actually like the experience, or was it abhorrent in the dream? I would think that would let you know more about questionable sexuality. (Not saying you're gay, El Barto...) I can't recall having a gay dream; I don't know if I'd post any details even if I had for fear that someone would say, "Eew, you had a gay dream? Fag! I was just kidding about having one!" Then I'd be the odd-man-out. |

I can honestly say I have never had such a dream, but in the cold light of day I have no problem divulging that I am a huge admirer of Brad Pitt, both as an actor and as one of the most beautiful male specimens ever created (as well as being cool as fuck). It's just another reason why Fight Club is so goddam good for me. Despite that I could never imagine having any sort of gay experience with him or any other man for that matter, it doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. However maybe I could end up having one of those dreams one day 'cos of my willingness to appreciate the male form, as a form. I dunno, just a thought. Maybe the guys who have had these dreams are guys who don't mind admitting when a guy is good looking, but would never feel anything towards them other than admiration!!!
Basically I am sure it doesn't mean you are gay!!!

There are some times I don't find her that attractive, but, man, she looks hot in that picture. I like that length hair on her too.
I've had a gay dream before. It wasn't anyone famous, just some guy. I think I was indifferent toward the dream while i was dreaming it.

my wife has told me about some she has had about her best friend, who is very hot as well.
if only i could dream about that!
i wonder if pent up sexual tension could trigger such dreams?
ya know, if ya hadn't had any for a while.
i also don't think angelina jolie looks particularly hot in that picture at all - i've seen much hotter ones of her.

I think the unconscious mind speaks a different, more primal and symbolic language than the conscious part, and dreaming about a lesbian encounter doesn´t necessarily mean that´s what you want - it could just be a representation of something you want (or miss, or need etc). Also, in your dreams it is all you, your brain setting up a story with different parts of you (even though it seems more confusing than say a conventional story)- I mean it might have less to do with Angelina Jolie than you think. Everyone´s unconscious mind has its own unique way of communicating with the conscious, and to me the idea of a dream dictionary with fixed definitions for everyone is ludicrous. The reason I started thinking about this a lot was I wanted to know was I really as messed-up as some of my dreams - and gay dreams were about the least peculiar of them. I keep a dream diary, and at first none of them made much sense to me but after a while you become more adept at reading between the lines, and it feels like I´m helping improve communication between waking me and sleeping me a lot quicker with it.

| I don’t think the guys who said they had gay dreams are gay, but I do think they are in the minority. It’s so much easier to see a girl trying the same sex out for a test ride. I mean, I think I’m an open-minded guy and all but women are just so much more sexually attractive in general. Think of a good looking naked man. Now think of a good looking naked woman. Is there really any comparison. I can admit and do much to my wife’s chagrin that I think Johnny Depp looks good but I don’t have the desire to cuddle up to him. Now maybe if he had a warm, furry woman-part down below... |

Yeah, women willing to experiment with other women is much much more common than men...much...or so it seems. I certainly find certain guys to be good looking or attractive or whatever, but I certainly don't look at them and thing "Man I'd like to fuck him!" like I do with attractive women. Totally different story. I don't look at men that way.

I think alot of guys deny the fact that they can judge whether a guy is attractive or not. I think they'll assume it means people will call them "gay" if they can see good physical attributes in the same sex.
It's that way with alot of things. Guys don't casually hug guys they know, or play with each others hair, or use the same nonverbal signals that girls would while talking to girls.
